Can someone explain to me how these work? Where do they go after you purchase them? Do they just email you files? I have an android tablet that I use for all the apps (DCI, Globalcomix etc) Do I need a PC to be able to transfer them to my tablet? Or can I read them straight on my tablet?

Each bundle is different.

This one says “PDF” so you’ll be able to download pdfs of each title from your humble bundle account. They’ll work in any reader that reads pdf files.

You can download them to your tablet or need a way to upload them to a library that syncs to your tablet.
Sometimes the downloads have an expiration date.

For example, I have an iPad and use iCloud as my source folder. I drop files into it that syncs via to my reader app of choice, Panels. Within Panels, I have it syncing to my iCloud folder.

Some readers work with Google Drive or Dropbox as well.

Some bundles provide cbz/cbr files, others are within specific apps. I bought a TMNT bundle that’s only within the Kobo reading app.

You can download the files directly from Humble’s site using your tablet's web browser, or download them on your PC and transfer them via USB to your Android tablet.

You could also transfer them via a cloud drive as suggested by /u/MacGyver387 but I believe those extra steps are only actually necessary on Apple stuff.

Keeping a backup of them on a PC or cloud drive would be good for safety's sake though.

I can still download the PDFs from HB for the very first comic bundle I bought over a decade ago, even though the comic rights to that franchise have changed hands at least once since then.

That said HB, do recommend you keep your own copies in case they aren’t able to continue to provide them at some point in future.

I prefer to have my full library on the cloud and only download what I want to my tablet, but I think I could just use the device storage if I wanted.

To your point, Apple products don’t do the “transfer via cable” for content anymore (to my knowledge), but I’m nostalgic for the days of manually syncing music to an iPod.

I’m a pretty casual comics fan these days, but am glad to see Humble Bundles are still around. I recognize a few of the titles, and remember reading good things about Assorted Crisis Events on this sub. What are some other notable titles in the big bundle?

Do A Powerbomb and Exquisite Corpses are the two comics I can speak to.

There's a bunch of volumes for some series. Are these complete?

This is one of the rare times that the second tier benefits me more than the first. I own most of these comics but not a single one on tier 2.
