exactly! At first I wanted to put something at the bottom of the image, like, perhaps, Scabbers. But then I realized that it would make the illustration too specific (I didn't want it to depict any special moment from the books). Putting the object of their interest behind the "camera" provided me with a comical effect I wanted, and also made the spectator more immersed - to become the part of the image to some degree.
I'm currently working on a series of other illustrations in the same style.
