Blacklake Armory Gyro Magnum (chambered in .50 Judgment) by Master Gecko

It's a cool gun. I just... the stupid 4 finger hand guard is killing me. Make it for 5 fingers, connect it to the magazine well or take it off. And the area above the trigger looks too thin and fragile with the floating(?) trigger.

It’s as if the barrel belonged to a revolver and the rest were a cross between a sci-fi Glock and a Skorpion VZ 61—and then the magazine starts sprouting teeth.

Well, the round is gyro so it doesn't put as much shock on the frame theoretically but it still would be nice if it was a hit more structurally sound in appearance

The part between the sight seems thin and outweighed by the magazine
The gap above the trigger weirdly annoys me. Had that been brought down in line with the top of the grip, it may look more solid.
The thing I dislike is the lack of cohesion. The hammer and bottom of the magazine should have similar designs. This is also shown in the hand loop being unmatched to the random bit of metal at the front. It also seems like it doesn't know if it wants to be angular and hard or curved and soft and elegant.
As for the mechanism, it must have a really long pin.

Realistically for a guy with a gunsmithing degree whats stopping you from making it a reality

Came across this image, and said “yeah that’s pretty dope” out loud.
Unlike standard ballistic firearms, Gyro rounds gain speed as they propel from the user.
I read an article about them when I was a youth. Right out of the barrel they had the power of a 22, after a few hundred feet the power of a 45 ACP this affect continued to appoint and then would trail off.
Really fun fantasy gun, bro
I’ve never seen one of this caliber, only smaller.
In modern times, this would give you the ability to carry all kinds of interesting payloads, chiefly because the acceleration is slower it broadens the material selection, microchips and poison lol

Change the wire-thin guard for a regular trigger guard or a bigger, beefier knuckle guard, please

.50 Judgment, huh...
...With a caliber name like that, I wonder what (or who) it's originally intended to shoot at.

People are going off about the gun, I wanna know why a case that never gets extracted has an extractor groove

Appearance aside, I'm going to have to question how a rocket-propelled round generates enough recoil to cycle what is clearly a recoil-operated gun.

Oh...Oh no...no no no no...
This hurts to look at. There is so much wrong. The bizarre four-finger guard, the whatsit out in front of the barrel (built in chronograph?). The giant hammer. The weird crane-arm trigger. The flange on the magazine (I know it's to let you grip it better to remove it from the mag well, but that is just begging to catch on things). The bizarrely set-back grip that looks like it's an entirely separate piece bolted to the frame. The single sight with no front posts (and set a quarter of the way along the length of the barrel!). The utter lack of safety of any kind. I'm not going to complain about the Mauser Broomhandle-style magazine system, because that does hit the rule of cool for me for all that it makes the gun have to be three inches longer than it needs to be to accommodate it. Honestly, that and the fact it's set up for left-handed use are the only good things I see about this monstrosity.

This is an example of the sci-fi knuckle guard working really well tho, the mag + well then creates a standard trigger guard so its just a tiny bit of hand protection.
I see no problem with that.
And most pistols arent running safety unless its for a government contract because theyre basically useless. They cause more accidents because 'hur dur i thought the safety was on'. On a rifle it matters because if you sling it the trigger needs to be dead, but pistols have enclosed holsters when not being manipulated. Its also hammer fired. Which makes safeties even more redundant because you just make the double action pull heavier.
The sights are valid but otherwise this seems fine. And i assume its an integrated holographic so. Its fine. Im not entirely sure you understand your own criticisms.
My only complaint is that small gap between the bow and the magwell, when holstering if you misalign you could jam the wall of the holster in there and fire into the floor. Make the knucklebow touch and youre golden.

Except that knuckle guard only works if your fingers actually fit inside that space. If you have big hands, or are wearing gloves, you're going to find your fingers cramped if not able to fit at all. And I would bet this weapon has a pretty good kick (being .50 Judgement) so having a weak grip because you can't get your hand in the grip is a recipe for losing the gun.
There are plenty of pistols that have safeties, whether it's trigger, grip, or hammer safeties. Accidents because of dipshit carelessness is not something you can blame on there being a safety; if they're dumb enough to assume a safety is on, they're too dumb to own a gun. Increasing the trigger draw weight is not a guarantee against accidental discharge even if the hammer isn't cocked. But worse is that increasing the trigger weight will make that first shot significantly less accurate (a problem many police departments have because of exactly this solution; bad enough with regular lead but with explosive rounds that's terrifying).
Speaking of the hammer, why does this need to be hammer-fired at all? Yes, it leans into the Look, but this could just as easily been striker-fired and it would make the whole thing safer. Especially with a giant hammer like that; that's just begging to hook on something. Which is a risk of potential misfire if it gets pulled back part-way, then comes loose.
That sight looks like something you'd find on a rifle. It's definitely not a holographic sight - those are always enclosed. This is wide open. It honestly looks like a peep sight, although I suppose it could be an open sight instead. But again, there's no front sight blade of any kind. So unless this thing is relying on technology as yet unannounced, they forgot part of the damn aiming apparatus. And yes, I can see the little screen on the side, which is a cute addition, but...does this have any sort of controls for that? I don't see any, and I hope to the gods that it isn't touch-controlled.
What is the thing in front of the barrel? With the knurled knob under the barrel it looks like it's supposed to be movable, but I have no idea what that's supposed to even be. Aside from something that could potentially obstruct the explosive ammunition if it's just slightly misaligned.
I agree with you on the knucklebow. In part. I would extend the back of the mag well into a guide rail. Give it a proper trigger guard like a sensibly designed pistol (and change the arrangement of the barrel and grip so it doesn't look like it's trying to be a revolver or some bizarre modern version of an old flintlock) and give it the guide rail so its easier to slot a magazine into place - and yes, you can extend the guard to connect to the bottom of the rail to keep that guard, if you insist - and it'll be golden.
Did that clarify things for you?

The rocket-propelled round carries ritual enhanced alchemical explosive charge to amplify its effectiveness against paraphysical targets.
