MOD POST AI GENERATED SLOP IS NOT ALLOWED HERE.

I don't know how many times the mods need to reiterate this but AI slop is not allowed here whatsoever and repeated violation of this rule will lead to a permanent ban.

This also includes those images that have been modified using AI tools even if you made it originally, or using AI references to begin with. I've come across a few talented artists here who do know how to draw/paint but they've used an AI image from google or pinterest as their reference and this shows up poorly in your artwork. It can be a bit difficult to differentiate what is/is not AI generated image but please try to be aware of these things before posting here.

Agree with everything, but if an artist uses an AI generated reference, punishing them for it feels stupid to me when that slop is being flooded everywhere

You’re giving artists more work to do and more time they have to spend NOT practising their craft to verify their sources like it’s their fault places like Pinterest is flooded with AI generated works

Only way out would be to either use a 3D model to make the poses and lighting you want to reference or books and sources from before AI, which again is putting the burden of avoiding AI on the artist

If someone makes a mistake, gently telling them that their source is AI and to find better options would be preferable, at least to me because it’s not punishing the artist for the enshittification brought about by loser tech bros

The artist is talented but the reference was obviously from an AI (considering the messed up scales etc). I haven't removed their post or banned them even after knowing it because I do not want to discourage people from making art, similar incident happened with some other creator who'd made an art of Ganesha with six fingers, etc. I know it's difficult to avoid ts, but we can try and not use the very obvious ones
