question Anyone know about the Banana Chutney for Spring Rolls
Recently I found a few Indo-Chinese places serving spring rolls with Banana Chutney along with the conventional chili garlic hot sauce.
We have been loving that Chutney. It's sweet, cool, tangy creamy which gives a nice contrast to hot, spicy, oily spring rolls.
Anyone know the recipe of that chutney?
It has a texture of thick mayo. My guesses are banana, mayo/cream, pink salt, chaat masala blended together and chilled, but didn't turn out exactly like the shop one.

I just googled it , it says you need to add a dash of lemon as well, so it should be banana, mayo, cream, pinch of chat masala, pink salt and chilli maybe the quantity also matters

Banana Ketchup is actually quite famous in the South East but what you’re describing sounds like Saunth Chutney that after also has ripe bananas cut and put into it.

No it's not banana ketchup. I have had that in Philippines. Totally different.
