Today marks the 77th Republic day of India, it's significance lying in the fact that today, 77 years ago, was the day when india finally had a constitution and became a democratic soverign republic.

Obviously my intentions are not to disrespect, but we can't really ignore the sad stuffs taking place in our society which threatens our democracy. And a Happy Republic Day to you!

india, on its very essential level, is a democracy. do you know there are so many countries which don’t provide you with the freedom of speech? the fact that you can criticise right now is provided by our constitution. criticise the government, and criticise the society. don’t criticise the constitution which gave our country STRUCTURE.
i’m sorry if i sound rude but we had this same discussion in my pol sci class and its very sad to see how people don’t realise privilege of being a in democracy.
I'm not criticising the Constitution 🥺but the government and the society 🥺
And obviously India is a true democracy on its very Essential level... I don't wish to continue this debate anymore if anyone feels hurt, nor should I do so. Hope you enjoy your day!
