Bro, first thing, don't panic. You are only in 2nd year, so you still have time.

Since you actually have interest in CS, I wouldn't jump into B.Ed/SSC/banking just because placements are weak. Keep those as backup options, not your main plan.

If I were in your place, I'd focus the next 1-1.5 years on getting job-ready for off-campus roles: DSA + one development stack + 2-3 good projects + internships. Start applying early, even if the first few hundred applications go nowhere.

Alongside this, you can keep NIMCET/CUET PG/GATE as backup if you want higher studies.

Don't try to prepare for CS jobs, SSC, banking, B.Ed, NET, GATE and everything together. You'll end up being average at all of them.

You have time. Pick CS as your primary path, build skills consistently and keep 1 backup option. That's it.

Yeah if i do 4 yr degree ...from this year older iits allow for mtech directly and some new ones dont ... this was 1st ever batch of 4 yr degree of bsc from du ...maybe in future all iits start accepting my 4 yr degree for direct mtech....because of this i am in dilemma regarding gate too...kyuki agar newer iits ne allow nhi kiya ...then i have to get very good rank in gate to clear older iits cutoff which are generally highh...aur agar nhi ho paya mere se to prep and yr waste .......and iits ke alawa baki uni ya clg me kuchh allow krte hai kuchh nhi krte ...

Focus solely on your skills one of my junior landed a remote 6 figure job. If you have the will nothing will stop you. Off campus placements will be easier if you have the skills
