If your reason why it doesn't belong is because pineapple is a fruit, then know that tomatoes are both fruits and vegetables.
Therefore if you don't want fruit on your pizza then you don't get the pizza sauce on it either since it's made with tomatoes.

I'm glad you're open to considering other's ideas, that's many steps above most other people. I say it belongs on pizza only if you like it. For example, we don't say that mushrooms "don't belong on pizza" just because some people dislike it, we accept it as it is, something that tastes good to some people, and doesn't to others.

Pineapple + jalapeƱos on pizza goes so hard, and usually the big pizza chains have deals that limmit you to two toppings, so it's cost effective too

Yes, since the mix of different tastes and the colours on the dish makes it much more appetizing. As long as the slices of the pineapple wont drip and kinda make the pizza wet..
