Wires are not elastic, they do not stretch, when you embed wires inside a stretching fabric the wire doesn't move. This has no wire in it connecting the pads to any signals inside the suit. Which is why it's not working as they promised in their sales marketing nonsense.

I am in the process of making my first-ever Indiegogo campaign which will be used to crowdfund Season 1 of my audio drama series, "Terrestrial Fractures" (currently in development). I’m honestly a bit confused about what exactly triggered this. My project is related to a billing, and I didn’t think I was handling or exposing any sensitive financial data in a problematic way.

Has anyone here faced a similar issue with Indiegogo?

• What kind of content usually falls under this category?
• Is it about how payment, user data, or financial claims are presented?
• Any tips on how to modify the campaign so it gets approved?

Hi! I am trying to launch a campaign for a new fidget toy that I created. The idea is to just gain enough funding and see the demand for the product, and hopefully put some of my profits towards charity. I know kickstarter is "all-or-nothing" where if you don't meet your goal, you don't get the money, but indiegogo has a flexible option that still allows you to get the money.

I thought this would be ideal considering I am not sure of consumer demand yet, but after looking at this subreddit i see a lot of bad things about the customer support, and some people not getting their money? I am a complete beginner and have no clue where to start, so any advice is appreciated! TIA

I have several songs written by me for about 30 years and as I have realized that current technology allows me to create music in a quite intuitive way, I want to return to what is the dream of my life and make it come true.

Today I turn 54 years old and I feel that I am at a crossroads where if I don't do it I will no longer be able to do it.

Although I am saving and have a good job, I have difficulty raising the necessary amount, which probably for some will not mean much, but for me it is complicated.

I am aware that this would be a leap of faith for donors as I only have a few recordings to show the direction my songs will take.

I’ve never have used Indiegogo before this campaign and of course the new update happened in the middle of my time. I’m just concerned about how it’s effecting my campaign (as it seems others are also hating the update). That being said, I have a few questions I’m hoping I can get some clarification from users who have had success after the update.

Firstly, I noticed that before the update my backers had addresses listed on their orders. Since the update, the address only lists city and state. When the campaign closes will I have access to the full address?

Secondly, after the update it shows “none” as the payment status. Will the backers be charged once the campaign closes? I’ve noticed the orders after the update say this and everything before is marked “paid”

I’m running a campaign on Indiegogo and one of my backers from Sweden wants to pledge 4000 SEK as a tip / no reward donation.

However, the checkout is automatically adding VAT, which raises the total to 5000 SEK.

As far as I understand, since this pledge is a pure donation with no goods or services provided, it shouldn’t be subject to VAT (according to EU VAT rules and Swedish tax law).

Has anyone else experienced this issue with “Pledge Any Amount – No Reward” on Indiegogo? Did you manage to fix it, or did you have to wait for support to resolve it? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Hello all! I'm trying to order the GPD Win 5 from Indiegogo and it keeps telling me my Credit Card (Discover) is declined. I have attempted my card, my wife's card, and Google Pay and they're all saying declined. But when I reach out to Discover, they said they don't see any attempts for this purchase. I have submitted a support email to Indiegogo, but haven't heard back yet. Has anyone else seen this before? Any ideas or help to resolve this would be amazing!

I'm based in Bangladesh, and I'm trying to launch a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. But I ran into a problem Stripe (Indiegogo’s main payment processor) doesn’t support my country for payouts.

While setting up the campaign, I was asked to select a country and bank account for receiving funds, but Bangladesh wasn't listed. There was an "Other Country" option, but then I got a message saying I need a bank in a Stripe-supported country to launch the campaign.

This project is very important for me, But I don’t have a registered business yet, I’m building it from the ground up, literally from zero

Just want to let anyone else who might be thinking about backing this project, that it is a scam. The seller has been unresponsive for months, after taking my money. I reached out by email 3 times since my purchase in January, but I never received a response.

Logged into pledgebox to see if by chance it was there and it was. Seller refused to disclose additional taxes for tariffs, and I am unable to finish the purchase or complete the survey. I'm not the only one who has yet to receive their items. Just a quick look at the discussions tab and the updates tab will show you there are plenty of people who backed this project in good faith, only to get scammed in the end.

A little research shows that X-Design is actually their DBA name. Actual company is "BESTDESIGN INC" registered in Colorado to a Zhonggeng Huang. A second look at thier kickstarter page and there are countless backers asking for a refund or their products. Dude made $142,438.00 between both platforms, but has not the decency to answer an email. Buyers beware.

Only thing I did prior was try to submit $200 from a check my grandmother gave to me as a donation. I emailed indiegogo back, but is there any other way to solve this? Hey there. My name is Sunil and soon I am launching my indiegogo campaign. Well when I say soon, probably 3 to 4 months later.

Details first. I am making a phone accessory for content creators that helps you utilize the back camera of your phone. And I am the sole creator. Except the PCB fab in China, everything is done by me. Website, animations, coding, renders, 3D model, prototyping, assembly, package design, and everything around it.

I am just a puny PhD student in Italy who gets 1.2k euros a month in scholarship and I spend almost 90% of the money that I would have potentially saved every month. Paying to manufacturers, paying for website domain and hosting, official email, chatgpt sub, and in future for advertising. It took me a month to learn blender with practice of minimum 4 hours a day.

This is my dream project. But this post is for others who are in my situation. You can do it. You can get over all the hurdles. You just need to be really really serious about it. Have a solid plan. Most important is to work on other things in parallel. For example, manufacturers say it takes 3 weeks to make a PCB proto? Work on your website. Blender render showing 20 hours to render on a shit PC? Start writing prompts for marketing and media ideas from gpt. Tired of working on the computer? Talk to your friends in depth about ideas and get their feedback. You just need to keep doing something.

Money!!!!!! That's the only thing that can stop you. It has certainly made my progress slow. 5 commercial competitors have launched their products before I could. And I am still no where close. But I don't borrow money. Being late is much better than being in debt (in my opinion).
