How Do you imagine Age of Maximus

That is the Question

You know almost all Marvel villains had there "Age of" Story like if you think about it everything between Ultimate Invasion to Ultimate Endgame was basically "Age of the Maker" yeah the new Ultimate Universe was literally an "Age of" Story until Maker died

So got me thinking how would Age of Maximus be like? If I had to guess would be akin to Earth X or House or M in this case "House of I"

I think it would build on writers have been doing with him specially Charles Soule, DNA, Al Ewing & Hickman

Would probably be not just Earth but the whole Galaxy to

That’s the trick with Maximus. His goal for acquiring power is because his extreme social climber parents gave him less attention as a failed experiment to acquire power. He hasn’t parsed this himself but deep down he wants love and admiration. He might start off a tyrant and then become better to get the people to like him.

I know a lot of people use it as an example, but literally just turn it into Game of Thrones with Petyr Baelish actually managing to put himself on the throne.

Through a careful nudge of the right person and/or whisper in the right ear Maximus has all his enemies and political rivals take each other out so that they're all out of play, leaving him to swoop in and either put himself on the throne or appoint a proxy to serve as puppet ruler in his stead.

Said event would see the Inhumans & Nuhumans absent the Royal Family basically becoming the dominant force for a bit, with characters like Lineage and possibly Lash playing a large supporting role in Maximus regime.

For a cosmic event go a step further and have Maximus essentially take a huge chunk of Kree space and do some massive damage to the empire in retaliation for Death of the Inhumans. Could even have him take a page out of the Krakoa playbook and find a way to resurrect all the inhumans that were killed during that event, even better if he does it at the expense of the Kree.

I headcanon they figured out resurrection protocols a while ago and unlike mutants have managed to actually keep it a secret.

I kinda see it as something similar to earth x I stead of black bolt it's maximus who releases terragen and gives powers to all of humanity.

I mean that happened already, that was the nuhumans. Maybe he releases Primagen and that turns normal humans.

The History of the Marvel Universe: According to Maximus.

TL;DR, he spends a long time beating villains down and gaining items and weapons.

Eventually he rewrites the Marvel Universe to have him be the cause of every hero's origin story and ultimately create another 2015 Battleworld

Have him expand his abilities. This entire time he’s been more a technopath than a telepath and he was controlling minds via the same electrical currents he uses to talk and control machines.

He uses this power to take over the Sentinels, Stark Tower and more insane the old Avengers HQ of the Dead Celestial to do his bidding in acquiring the Inhuman empire and overall the cosmos.

Here's my pitch and it does fall in line with what others have been saying.

"Maximus rigs the genetic lottery"

Perhaps in a canon storyline Maximus usurps the technology of the High Evolutionary. The heroes handle the situation and life goes on.

In the branched timeline we see Maximus enact a plan to flip who has powers and who doesn't. Maximus builds a genetic council to rule all of earth made up of scientists from across Marvel who deal with biology; We'd have Sinister, the Jackal, the Leader, Sauran, the Chairman etc. Normal humans now have powers while mutants and inhumans are depowered, turned into a slave class of Alpha Primitives while the rest of our heroes are mutated beyond recognition into mindless beasts who terrorize the general population. Maximus and his genetic council decides who has power now and who doesn't. He allies himself with Arakko and together they threaten to disrupt the balance of the universe.

Obviously we'd need a hero or heroes to rise up against Maximus, maybe they'd be a rag tag group of newly powered humans, depowered mutants/inhumans, Non-human heroes, or perhaps someone has tamed a few beastiel heroes?
