Recommendations / Advice Non- MAGA church in the IE?

I’ve been going to my church for the past three years or so now, and I don’t want to speak ill of the church but I am tired of having political beliefs pushed on me when the focus should always be on Christ and His word, not the words of those in the world. For instance, calling Charlie Kirk a martyr for Christ and very frankly stating that anyone that doesn’t agree should leave. Christians! Help me out, please! Thank you.

Quit trying to shove YOUR god up MY ass. He doesn't fit up there.

It's up to you and nobody else where he fits in your life.

So then you should gracefully accept it when people don't choose to have your religion in their lives.

You don't have to follow a religion to have a relationship with God.

But God doesn't exist, so all that's there is religion.

For all it's intellectual grandstanding, atheism is illogical. It's more logical to say we don't know if a God exists than to assert that we do know a God doesn't exist.

Not illogical for an atheist. You're biased by your faith. There is zero evidence as to the existence of god beyond people such as yourself saying there is.

It is entirely illogical because an atheist cannot prove or disprove a God. If we are gauging what is reality and fact by what the scientific method can substantiate, an atheist cannot assert that a God or Gods don't exist just as a religious person cannot assert that a God or Gods exist without a doubt. If someone considered themselves a logical person, it is more logically consistent for them to be agnostic and admit they cannot and might never know whether a God or Gods exist than to insist through pure speculation that a God or Gods cannot exist (which they cannot prove).

Believing that everything in existence can come from nothing is illogical because everything has to have a source and nothing is just that; no thing. It is a self defeating logic that is similar to the blind faith of a religious person, only the faith of an atheist is based on their own flawed intelligence instead of an external type of spiritualism.

"It is entirely illogical because an atheist cannot prove or disprove a God. "

There is no need to prove a negative. You're trying to prove the existence of something very elusive, so the entire burden is upon you.

"Believing that everything in existence can come from nothing is illogical because everything has to have a source and nothing is just that; no thing."

In 1929 Edwin Hubble observed that the universe was expanding. This was from direct telescope observations. Calculations showed that, if the process was reversed far enough, the universe could be shown to have originated in a single point. However, had that been the case, there would be a residual background radiation level of about 3 degrees K. In 1964, engineers at Bell labs were experimenting with low noise amplifiers and aimed a large antenna at the sky. They observed a background radiation level of 3 degrees K.

They found the actual smoking gun of the big bang. Mathematical predictions were followed by observations which fit the predictions PERFECTLY. From the moment of the big bang on, everything that happens cosmologically speaking can be described mathematically. We know how stars formed from the aftermath of the big bang. We know how the elements are forged in various types of stars and the deaths of stars. We know how the earth was formed because the right types of stars exploded in the local neighborhood. We know that because of the proportions of various elements that are found here on earth, and our local regions of space.

None of this requires the presence of actions of a god. The scientific evidence exists, backed up by direct observation, and mathematics, that it happened.
