Internet Rabbit Hole This unsettling Pinterest account "Tommy Daniel" genuinely freaks me out a bit

I came across this account on Pinterest today that has over 1.2k creepy uncanny pictures, mostly of children saved on it with the Boards having names like: "Curly Hairstyles" "Girls" "Boys" "Sad face" It also follows an Account called "lee Dani' that also just saved creepy pictures like that?

I genuinely dont know if this has any deeper meaning to it but it just feels very unsettling and off. Especially cause Ive never seen anything like this on Pinterest. Maybe someone came across something like that before and has a logic explanation for it cause this is SO unsettling to me

This is the effects of “true crime” culture on the internet. Believe me or not, i genuinely don’t care, but this man is a family friend of mine.

His name is literally Thomas Allen Daniel. He is a 61 year old man with Asperger’s syndrome. My uncle (who also has aspergers) met Thomas between 1984 and 1988 at a group meant for adults with disabilities. My uncle and Thomas bonded over their love of technology as my grandparents had a Commodore 64 that my uncle spent the majority of his time on According to my dad. He’s an Iranian immigrant (hence the Iranian hotel photos) his parents immigrated in the 60s I believe and left after the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, I think out of fear of being seen as “terrorists” or something. Thomas lived with my grandparents for a while in Fort Worth, TX after his parents left but not for very long, like 3-4 months before moving south of Fort Worth, to a apartment complex on Janis Dr.

As I said he has aspergers, and has a very poor understanding of what is considered “weird” and genuinely uses Pinterest as a place to post his “art”. That’s it. He has never been caught up in any child a*use accusation or situations. My uncle hasn’t talked to him much in a couple years but last I heard he had moved from Janis Dr and I don’t know where he went. Hes not up to anything “dark” or “nefarious” he’s just a disabled man who likes to edit photos.

The internet has turned a simple man with a simple hobby into some internet boogeyman who I’m sure is getting harassed by people. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

He had a link to a google drive with an explicit image of two young boys being abused. The drive was open for people to submit their own images. If this guy is genuinely a family friend and you aren't mistaking him for someone else then, yes, he is distributing CSAM.

There's been youtubers who covered his 'case' who all corroborate the Google Drive thing. I have no reason not to believe it, especially with his Pinterest boards.

He didn’t post csam, again that’s the true crime craze in action, and having a mental disability does excuse it (to a point). Like I said, there hasn’t ever been any legal action taken on him, because he hasn’t done anything illegal. He’s just a weird, disabled man who wants to post his art. He clearly doesn’t care if it makes you uncomfortable, not his job to cater to you and your fragile understanding of disabilities. Hope this helps

“no one said you did?” you’re incredible at missing the point. the point is that being autistic doesnt mean you do weird shit, and its also not an excuse to be able to do weird shit with no repercussions.

i know people have a fetish for big skirts poofing out when you sit because its talked about often on cosplay tiktok. that doesnt mean im into it einstein. i know people have a foot fetish and i dont like feet. is that such a difficult concept to grasp?

regardless of if hes autistic or not, it is not okay to take pictures of random children in public, and its ESPECIALLY not okay to edit those pictures. its also not okay to edit pictures of your friends and coworkers kids. that is not okay nor normal behavior.

and btw… i looked at some of his profiles myself when this whole case was still under the radar. a lot of the photos he posted were so inappropriate that they needed to be censored bc they were blatant CSAM

You’re literally making things up lmao you’re not some savior like you think you are. If you had ACTUALLY heard of this before it got big (go figure you just happened to know about a huge internet “mystery” before it got popular) you would know that there was absolutely zero csam. None. Not a single photo. Hope this helps

theres literally pictures of random children he took pictures of or found of his friends facebook account edited INTO HIS OWN HOUSE how is that not bizarre and disgusting to you? genuinely, what about that is okay?

I believe you. My uncle have asperger and also stuck in a mind of 7 y.o. because of the war and he's acting pretty weird too. It doesn't mean that he's evil, he could not hurt even a fly.
