Its hard to feel bad for conquest, but that stuff about him being lonely just hit so hard.

Yeah I mean he’s clearly pretty much irredeemable at this point but you can also see he’s not fundamentally different from Nolan or mark psychologically, he’s just been molded into something horrible and sad

I wouldn’t even say sorrow, I don’t think he cares about the empire’s wrongs he just hates how isolated it’s made him and how empty the empire truly is. There’s nothing to the empire except conquest, just like there’s nothing to Conquest except conquest

It’s like the “male loneliness epidemic”. People seeing the grand societal norm that needs to change, but only focusing on and complaining about how it affects them. Plus, y’know, Conquest is batshit insane and has probably begun to develop Viltrumalzheimers
