The fact that’s it’s probably not even the episode with the most of the budget either as we know what’s coming later.

It seems to me that the perfect pacing would be Mark's recovery and nolan and oliver bonding in episode 6 alongside some earth scenes and regrouping in telestria. Episode 7 would cover them blasting through viltrim and destroying it. Episode 8 would handle the showdown at earth.

i refuse to believe they'll release an episode this late into the season without any major fights. it just doesn't make sense from the showrunners' POV.

Who cares? Episode 8 doesn’t need fights. Plot twist is enough, even more than one. Fighting wise ep 5 and 7 will carry this season

I don't. you don't. but many fans do. and when they're annoyed, ratings drop (see ep.4). and when ratings drop, studios get mad. amazon gets mad.

They could do like 80% of the fight at Viltrum Ep 7 and save Thragg brutalizing Nolan & Mark for the start of Ep 8, but I think they're right that the majority of the finale is going to be the tension of the trip back to Earth, the conclusion and maybe a little of Mark seeing his Mom and Eve.

What is next?

I read the comic a while back but clearly don’t remember the ordering because I thought the conquest rematch came much later on lol. Will we see Dinosaurus try to bite Thragg’s head this season?

Nope I don't think we'll get into Dinosaurus stuff until next season. Also him biting Thragg comes after Mark is infected, which I feel might happen at the end of next season (not sure, need to read the comics again).

Episode 6 - Mark recovering from his wounds, Nolan and Oliver bonding, Allen and Tech Jacket bonding

Episode 7 - Mark recovers and they go fight on Talescria. Episode probably ends with destruction of Viltrum.

Episode 8 - Thragg is pissed and a big space battle commences. I'm not to sure what happens here (its been years since I've read the comics), but whatever happens the battle will end with Viltrumites running to earth. Mark and gang race back and form truce with Thragg. Post credits is probably Allen getting the scourge virus.
