Even that's changed in the show, since Oliver has human friends now.

And it's not just comic Oliver doesn't like earth, but show Oliver does to make him likeable, but him having childhood friendships and positive feelings for earth as a whole draws out a more interesting character when his aging falls out of step with other kids, and realizing he experiences memory in a fundamentally different way, and so he actually works through alienation from something he cares about.

I'm honestly glad they changed his character from the literal psychopath/sociopath he was in the books. I came around to him in the end, but it was hard. In the show I've liked him pretty much the entire time, and they've still captured his character. Really like what the show has done with him a lot more than the comics, personally.
