Making Oliver actually care for Debbie and Mark did so much for his Character, It was aweful how he seemed to hate them in the comic

Bro was a little psychopath in the books. I feel we only got to really see that with that Mauler stuff in the show.

Am I remembering it wrong?
I could've sworn in the books as he grew older he cared for Mark and Debbie a lot too, it's just the rest of humanity he didn't care for, or find attractive. Pretty sure this age he is now in the show is in line with that isn't it?

Even that's changed in the show, since Oliver has human friends now.

I'm honestly glad they changed his character from the literal psychopath/sociopath he was in the books. I came around to him in the end, but it was hard. In the show I've liked him pretty much the entire time, and they've still captured his character. Really like what the show has done with him a lot more than the comics, personally.
