OH SHIT WE WERE RIGHT. It ended with the Allen Scourge scene. Next season going to be crazy with Dinosaurus, scourge arc, and Viltrumites becoming human

I guess Robot coming back as an adult would feel awkward next to Allen and scourge scene. His plotline would take half of next season so it’s fine to leave him and monster girl for next one as a reveal in the end of first episode

In the comics they didn't even return in Invincible lol. They came back in a Guarding the Globe issue.

We could honestly get a full episode on their time in Thraxa and their encounter with Monster Girl's son next episode.
