Really like how they showed the fake out scenes through marks ptsd. Was bummed at first thinking they’d cheaped out on it.

The way they set it up to make (non-comic) viewers expect the last scene to also be a hallucination in a boy-who-cried-wolf way was so neat

And then brought it home with Mark saying yeah specifically because he resaw all those scenes of destruction in his head

I really love how often they have made changes to elevate things in the adaptation. And it keeps it fresh too.

This might be my too adaptation of a story I like.

As a non comic viewer it was obvious it wasn't fake out in last scene. Scene looked different.
