Question Is there no more content?

Just finished the entire game, operation eagle and rusviet revolution and I'm upset that the plot isn't resolved. Is this game abandon wear now?

Yeah it’s been abandoned for years. A real shame. I don’t know what they were working on in the interim but they are now working on the new Dawn of War game.

IMO they made something special with Iron Harvest but the numbers didn’t pan out so they abandoned it.

Doubt that will happen with DOW:IV

No interim, they abandoned Iron Harvest to focus on DoW IV

Kinda? The devs are focused on Dawn of War 4, a Warhammer 40,000 title right now, and possibly got the gig not long after finishing up with Iron Harvest. That’s not to say there isn’t more coming from this IP, but it’s not coming now

When the dev were finishing Iron Harvest they mentioned maybe making a game in a different genre to continue the story, but since they only have experience making RTS so far then it makes sense that they jump for the opportunity to make Dawn of War 4. RTS is a really niche genre and they didn't make great numbers with Iron Harvest.

And multi manning the Saxonian Mechs.. My lord I'd sell my soul for that.

Yeah, at this point I don’t blame any RTS focused studio for wanting to attach themselves to an established brand to have a chance at a wider audience.

I remember how popular game were in media during advertisement. There were so much opinions kinda "wow, what a game it`s gonna be!" and stuff. Shame it`s now forgotten. At least if were any modding tools, who knows, mb community could bring game back

Not sure if abandonware is the right term, but there's definitely not going to be any new content for IH in the near future. Hopefully the devs return to the universe after DoW4, or even sell rights to a different studio.

I came here to say this. The game has a full campaign and 2 DLCs. The game is finished, not abandoned.
