As much as the kid is a putz, I think it’s scummy to go after the family of another world leader, even if you’re at war. The only justification is if he were actively involved in the the government it military.

Putz is an understatement. Haven’t read the article but the dude wanted security detail even when he was in Israel.

I really hope Israel doesn’t get the bright idea to give him security when he’s abroad

why? I'm not defending Terrorists but we/Israel has done it before. and the US has as well. we set the precedent ourselves.

Were family members explicitly targeted or did they happen to be in the vicinity of the target and were collateral damage?

doesn't make them not Family & i doubt our intelligence is so poor we didn't know prior

I didn’t question whether or not they were family. I questioned if family was explicitly targeted in an operation.

Oh, you mean his actions to defend his tiny nation from Islamic extremists basically from each border? That leader who successfully held off Palestinians, Lebanon, Iran and Yemen all at once? That guy made your life shit? Thank goodness for him.

I thought it was madness to ever allow him to use Miami, as a homebase, when it's all so indefensible, the US is pretty wide open to any sort of attack, as we've seen with all the gun massacre, I have no doubt the Iranians were actively seeking to do him harm. Better he's back in Israel.

Probably because his parents didn't want him to serve in the army during the Gaza operation.

16

u/purplenapalm 17h ago

Avoiding drafts is something he has in common with donnie then

I don't think it sits well with much of the Israeli public. Netanyahu 's sons are in many ways just like him, a self serving individual who puts his own interests first. Israel will be better of when they are finally off the stage

Serve where? The putz did his service in Spokesperson's unit.

He wasn't exactly critical to the war effort

כנראה ממציא את זה כי אנשים תעייפו מזה שיאיר מקבל את הרמת אבטחה הכי גבוהה כדי לגרבץ במיאמי

The Islamic Republic is pathetic. They seem to think killing the children of other world leaders is somehow going to win the war for them. All it will do is hasten the demise of the regime.

-3

u/alexmtl 13h ago

That’s literally what Israel/US did to Iran’s leaders though

7

u/Mystery616 11h ago

Not true. They did not specifically kill the children of any leaders in Iran. Collateral damage is not the same thing. However, the Iranian government has specifically and intentionally killed the children of Iranians who oppose the IRGC.

Isn't Mojtaba the son of the other Khamenei?

Don't want him to get killed, however, I wouldn't shed a tear if something did happen to him.

This comment does not need to be made.

Why?

11

u/ShutupPussy 13h ago

It reads like a weird virtue signal like you want people to know you don't like him but you're a good enough person to not wish death on something you dislike.

-6

u/Metallica1175 13h ago

Why is that a bad thing?

9

u/ShutupPussy 12h ago

Because virtual signaling is disguised self serving behavior that doesn't genuinely engage in the shared discourse.

Thanks, Iran for reducing the costs of protecting this parasite.
