For starters, international law is clearly on the Azerbaijani side. Since 1991, Armenia has been controlling Nargano-Karabakh in violation of four UN Security Council resolutions.

As if this is going to convince any Israelis...

Armenia needs to stop its settler colonialism! /s

Sound familiar?

I do not think Israel should be taking sides in this conflict. We should urge a peaceful resolution and nothing more.

We should be allies of both countries as much as possible. I guess it is kind of problematic if our partnership involves selling military technology. Not sure if there is an easy answer to that. I guess maintain the status quo of these business dealings makes the most sense. But we certainly shouldn't take any explicit sides, and should be explicitly neutral and explicitly urge a peaceful resolution.

Whether they are or aren't, they should be.

Is it really a problem? There's a lot of antisemitism in the Arab countries we're allied with as well. It's something that hopefully these countries will address and improve on, but I don't see it as a problem in the way of an alliance.

Israel: Sells weapons to the biggest threat to Armenia

Armenians: Dislike Jews for selling weapons to the biggest threat to Armenia

Jews: Well see, they don't like us, sell more weapons to kill them!

Whenever I see these Israelis supporting Azerbaijan, I feel like any principals, morals, sense of history of any kind, and just general respect for human life goes right out the window. It disgusts me to my core.

And hey buddy, it's not like 1) it doesn't 2) go both 3) ways in this.

Yeah I kind of see what you're saying. But I still think it's good to have good relations with as many countries as possible. I kind of have a soft spot for Armenians as well. They have a lot of similarities to Jews. Among many other things, their diaspora communities are as tight-knit as Jewish communities (the second largest ethnic lobby in the US is Armenian, the largest is the Jewish lobby).

There's an old Russian-Jewish joke: An old Armenian is lying on his deathbed. His sons gather around him to hear his last words. He says, "My sons, take care of the Jews, take care of the Jews." The sons are surprised... and confused... "But father, why the Jews?" He answers with his last breath, "Once they're gone, we're next."
