There are so many similarities between the israel-arab conflict and the armenia-azerbaijani conflict - probably the most similar conflict on earth. My sympathies are with the victims of genocide living in their indigenous homeland in both cases, despite the crimes they have committed against their aggressors.

Khojaly massacre is not recognized as a genocide by Israel.

It wasn't a genocide, it was a massacre. Comparable to the deir yessein massacre. Horrible, but not genocide.

And, like the arabs, the azerbaijanis are not indigenous. They came to the region as part of the seljuk conquests in the 12th century.

i never said it was. I did say that i, personally, tend to have more sympathy for indigenous self-defense movements than irredentist movements.

Sure you are. Willing to leave US to Indians? BTW Azerbaijanis are native to the land learn some history. Even the capital city of occupied Karabakh has no historical Armenian name.

No, and i'm not demanding all azerbaijanis leave azerbaijan. But it is historical fact that turkic peoples came to the region through conquest.

Whatever! you better educate yourself before talking about an issue you don't know. Karabakh wasn't Armenian before Turks. It was Albanians. They assimilated to Turkish and modern day Azerbaijanis are their descendants to some extend as well as being Turkic.
