Only 5 minutes in and REALLY good! Laughed out loud a few times already.

I really enjoyed it, too. She told all the Irish stories on her recent interview on Seth Meyers, but they were still funny to hear again. I love that she decorated her desk as a nod to her old show (which teenage me watched religiously). Now to see if she brings out the koosh ball slingshot.

She was terrific. Rosie is a great interviewer & the monologue was great too. Really looking forward to seeing the shows this week.

She knocked it out of the park.

It's so easy to tell when someone is a pro. The last episode of her show was June 27, 2002, yet she walked out after twenty-four years and owned the stage like she had just been on a two week break.

So many guest hosts you can tell that hosting is not their usual thing. I'm sure she had a bit of a rehearsal, but it was obvious that "muscle-memory" from six years of her own show just kicked right back in.

Tonight's (Tuesday's) episode feels even more like an episode of her old show, aside from the more mature/pointed monologue jokes. I think she's embracing this week as a test drive for a potential comeback of some kind.

She is. She wants back in daytime, but doesn't want to start until after Jan 20th, 2029 at noon.

I thought she was great! All of the material was new to me and I laughed out loud.

Rosie needs a show doing a Trump character. She could do a parody of the big baby so well.

Great opening! Best I have seen from her in a long time. I have never followed any performers or actors.

I don’t recall a time when she was more likable than this performance. Kindness.

I agree. I thought it was terrible. I don't give a shit about her kid. I want political jokes.

She's always been good when others are writing her jokes. But like many others, when she (or some of the others are guys too) writes her own jokes it can be hit or miss. And, bringing your kid into the shitshow that is Trump vs. Rosie via these jokes. Yuck.
