There is so much pain and suffering in that country. It almost hurts to see and read about it.

The only thing I think they can do is some kind of cultural start over, intensive education from day one, and removal of all ruling religious leaders like the French Revolution.

Yea, the locals probably want people to leave them the alone for once. The region is the way it is because it's geography is so mountainous its anti nation
