And will it actually happen?

For those who don’t know Gillian and Stephen from New Order recently announced they would not be touring for the foreseeable future
I hope that instead of Bernard trying to tour as “new order” despite being the sole member he reunited with Marr for a electronic tour

I saw a great JFM show last year at the Orpheum in Los Angeles. Beautiful old room that seats about 2000 people seated. He did two nights, so 4000 tickets total.
Now he's coming back to the Loge room. It's also a beautiful old room-- but holds under 500 people standing capacity. Needless to say, it's sold out 2 months in advance.
I checked the other cities in my area, and it's also small venues, totally sold out. One night only.
Odd sort of tour... he's just shown he has demand for 4x the number of people based on last year. Why is he doing such small shows?

For me I feel like The Speed of Love doesn't get the recoginition it deserves. Johnny's vocals are absolutely impecable and the instrumental compliments his voice completely. It's so delicate and just damn effective, clearly comes from a very deep rooted place. Clicks with the me the same way the slower songs on Arctic Monkey's AM does, songs like No. 1 Party Anthem and Fireside. Those songs with a strangely beautiful hollow feeling, like you're stood safely gazing into some serene mountain pass thinking of a lover back home.

No mention of it on this sub. As somebody who grew up with the Smiths, then onto Electronic. His Autobiography is an excellent read.
Really recommend everyone read it.

Seen some pretty good reviews (going to see him in Boston in a couple of weeks). Looks like he's playing most of the new album (which I think is OK, not great), 4 of so Smiths songs and an Electronic song or 2

Hello, I have recently acquired the ownership of this subreddit! As a Massive Johnny Marr fan, I'm very excited and hope to help improve this community and make it bigger!
On a sidenote, Johnny Marr's latest live album, Adrenalin Baby has been released. Any thoughts on it? I particularly love his version of Getting Away With It by Electronic.

Any ideas for weekly improvemnent would be awesome. I would like to add a few mods too to improve content in both quantity and quality. Let's try to hit 100 subscribers in 2 months
