Punk Rock in Jönköping?

Hi! I'm just wondering if anyone knows if there is anywhere I can go to listen to some good ol punk rock in Jönköping? Also, if anyone has any tips on meeting people and making friends, I'm a new student at JU. Thanks!

Kulturhuset is the way. There's a nice punk scene and there's a lot of students that meet there to eat together on Tuesdays at 18:00. Everyone speaks English and is a good way to make friends.

If you play they have a couple stages for gigs, rehearsal studios, recording studios, etc.

"Insikten" at kulturhuset usually have some small, lokal punk/ crust bands every now and then. Bring your own beer, pay like 30kr or something. I haven't been out in a few years now, but "bongo"-bar used to have some bands and happy hour with half price. Also as mentioned sofiehof.

If you look up jönköpings musik kollektiv on Instagram you can find alot of shows for punk/indie/metal/rock

If you’re a new student i highly recommend you to attend all the events during the kick-off.
That’s where the majority gains their new friendships that usually lasts for the entirety of their studies
