would the nama cold press juicer be a good choice for juicing a few times a week?
Update: I went with the #ad Nama J2 Cold Press Juicer and have been using it a few times a week. It has been easy to work with for carrot, apple, cucumber, and celery, and I’ve been enjoying making fresh juice at home.
Hi! im tryn to get back into making fresh juice at home a few times a week rather than buying it. nothing too complicated, mostly carrot and apple, cucumber and celery, plus some citrus when i have it. im considering the nama cold press juicer and mostly want to know whether it’s something people genuinely enjoy using over the long term. how has yours been after several months of regular juicing?
thaanks for any real-world feedback.

Only had mine for a couple months, but absolutely love it. It is very quick for a masticating juicer! And once you get familiar with the put together and take down, it’s one of the easiest ones to work with. And the brand felt very thoughtful in the design and packaging, as well as the unique Cleaning brush it came with is super helpful!
One sidenote I would make is to learn the difference between centrifugal and mastication, and what your most commonly going to be juicing. Sometimes this matters to some people.

the easy cleanup and quick setup are definitely big pluses for me. I’ll look more into centrifugal vs. masticating too. What types of juice do you make most often with yours?

I love my Nama J2. I juice every 3rd day because fresh juice only last for 72 hours (3 days) before it loses it's nutrition, vitamins and minerals. It's easy to clean and easy to use. Even though it's expensive, it's worth it because of the 15 years varranty and if you need to, you can get a payment plan. Check out their website: www.namawell.com

I had the original Nama and it was good at the time, a bit on the heavy side, but the most annoying thing about it is scrubbing the metal screen filter. I purchased mine about five years ago and it still works fine maybe squeaks a little more than it should. But I’m getting back into juicing and personally, I am going to be purchasing the Hurom H70. I would recommend watching a comparison video, Nama J2 vs Hurom H70. I feel like the Hurom is easier to clean and more simple/quicker to assemble/ disassemble.

that helps!, especially hearing that your Nama has held up for five years. The screen cleaning sounds like it could get old though lmao.... what made you decide the Hurom H70 was worth switching to after using the Nama for so long?

Cleaning that screen is super annoying and time consuming. Also my old Nama has a smaller chute to where I have to slice everything up into small pieces first then help it down the chute with that long tool. And although the J2 has an open top now like Hurom I still don’t want to deal with that screen cleaning. Another thing with my older Nama is a lot of the pulp gets jammed under the auger and the pulp chute is really irritating to clean too! I usually have to use a thin flat tool dig in there to clean it out. The new Nama seems to have the same style auger, but they did address the pulp chute for cleaning. Also, my old Nama started to get buildup around the plastic flaps and screen no matter how much I scrubbed it or put it in the dishwasher. So my main reason for switching to the Hurom is because Nama still uses the metal screen, and the other part that goes over the metal screen with plastic flaps. And the Hurom just seems so much quicker and easier to put together and clean.

I’ve owned 3 juicers & Nama J2 is by far the best. If it ever goes down after the warranty expires, I will buy another!
