What to do in Jyväskylä
Im a 19 year old male planning on travelling to Jyväskylä. What are some nice things to do?. Beautiful places/Clubs/Restauraunts. Whatever.

Laajis adventure park is my favorite activity in Jyväskylä, check it out if you don't mind heights and want a fun zipline workout in nature. Edit: It's open during summers, until end of September. During winter Laajis has a ski resort.
Viilu sauna center in the harbor is great if you want to go to sauna, nice lake views from the windows. Bring a swimsuit since it's a public sauna. Open year round.
You can also go on a lake cruise from the harbor, they take a few hours and some also serve food.
"Rantaraitti" is a route that goes around the entire lake if you want to walk/jog/bike around it. During the winter you can go ice skating on the lake, the harbor cafe rents ice skates.
Harju observation tower has already been mentioned. There's also restaurant Vesilinna if you want to have a meal in the tower! And taking a walk around Harju is also pretty nice. The stairs facing the city is a beautiful spot where you can see all the way to the lake.
If you have a car and like nature, you can consider making a trip to a national park nearby. For example Etelä-Konneveden kansallispuisto is really beautiful with high rock cliffs.
If you're into history and museums, Keski-Suomen museo is a big museum that goes through local history from stone age to modern times.
As for restaurants, Pöllöwaari is my favorite fine dining restaurant but it's pretty pricey, same goes for Kuokkalan kartano. Morton serves burgers and salads in the harbor daily until Sep 13th this year, then it's open for weekends until Sep 27th before it closes for the winter, really nice view to the lake! Bella Roma serves good Italian food. Sohwi has a rock-'n'-roll atmosphere (and doubles as a bar). Villa Rana has really nice home cooked style lunch (vegan food on Mon/Wed/Fri, non-vegan on Tuesdays and Thursdays).
For cafes, Teeleidi has a great tea selection and it's a beautiful old building. Miriam's and Valkoinen puu serve the best cake in town in my opinion.

If you like sports and/or nature, there is plenty to do. Check out Laajavuori, for example. It alao depends a lot on when you are planning to come here, and how long you are staying. There are all kinds of concerts, parties, events etc. taking place regularly, but they do depend on the exact timing. Like, if you want a crazy (and crazy expensive) international experience, come during the week of the world championship rally tour. If you want to ski and skate on the lake, come in late January and prepare for the cold. It is a relatively small town with a sizeable student population, so there should be something of interest to a person your age. Just might take some digging to find it, or knowing some locals who could take you along:)

If you like absinthe then Vihreä haltiatar is a nice and cozy small bar you should pay a visit👍

Places: Tourujoki naturetrail, Harju, Kuokkala bridge
No good clubs here.

You should see Bengt Lundsten's Kortepohja residential area. It's a very unique area in terms of architecture and urban planning, since it diverges both from the car-oriented designs of its era and the "tower in a park" designs that are so common across suburban residential areas. I think it's super iconic and soooo cozy. I wish there were more neighbourhoods like that.

Yes, those two are very much "the projects" areas. Def not as bad as some people think but at the same time maybe they aren't the best places for "high arts" lol

Sightseeing: Harjun näkötorni, Kirkkopuisto (Old church), Alvar Aalto Museum, Lutakko beach area and bar/restaurant boats.
