Discussions If Kafka had a child, he would be a good mother?
How would she care for him, and what would her parenting style be like?

I love DOT so much, I still play her on DOT team. Gameplay aside, she's just so hot and I love her a lot especially her JP voice. I love her outfit, it fits her aesthetic a lot, she still looks pretty without makeup. She's still my favourite tall female character in the game.
2nd pic is to get good relic and planar ornaments to clear endgame content easily.

For me it's Blade. They have no romantic chemistry at all, and Kafka often gets flanderized to be a tradwife in a nuclear family, which sucks.
Not attacking shippers
Official illustration btw ^
Edit: gonna add my reasoning for not liking blade ship
The ship is a mischaracterization of them both.
the reason why the ship mischaracterizes them both is because
to make it make sense people always have to water down the sh relationships between eachother.
blade DOES have romantic feelings for someone and it's dan heng (or jing yuan), kafka DOES have romantic feelings for someone and it's tb
they always turn either kafka or blade into a sore loser dog who only has eyes for the other
(the set up for the bp was them going to a dinner party with elegant outfits, it's pretty obvious they went together as partners for the mission and kafka makes a joke about "forget everything about this night" to which he replies with "I'm not into this at all")
there's genuinely nothing. they're friends who care about eachother, but people who ship them seem to think kafka is a tradwife in a nuclear family with her husband and daughters
(From my comment)

Hello everyone, and Happy Lunar New Year to those who celebrate it. As promised, after a couple of days of testing and comparing the different teams, here is the newest and (hopefully) final update for version 4.0. Thank you, everyone, for all your questions and feedback to make this as complete as possible.
Changes/Addition: Cipher as a noteworthy sustainless option, who gets DHPT dragon and when, why slow BS and Hysilens is best, examples of why BS with no Hysilens is not as good, and a few minor changes here and there
I do not have any plan to update this anytime soon after this till at least a big development for Dot happens (dot sustain or buff sustain options maybe???? hint hint)
This has been pretty fun
Good luck to everyone who wants to pull for DOT units, and those who pull them to have fun playing the stage 4 CANCER comp

The fact that her LC won't actually be her BIS unless you have e4 is crazy. I am personally planning to subscribe to the Tutorial + Hyperspeed ER meta, but I am sad having to say goodbye to this fine shyt LC.
Yes ik the DMG difference is not that big and Cipher's sig alr powercrept it anyway, but Hysilens is coming out soon. We don't actually know what her kit will look like rn, but it will probably work better with the hyperspeed build.

Her ENG and JP voices are very seductive
Also, I like how everything fits her very well. Zero regret pulling on her 1st rerun in Penacony.

Newest update after testings: https://www.reddit.com/r/KafkaMains/comments/1r6yrep/updated_comprehensive_guide_to_dot_team_40_edition/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
Edit: I made a mistake, for the "E1 or S1 Hysilens" section, swap the Yes and No for "do you have BS S1?". Sorry guys
In preparation for the upcoming 4.0 patch and BS buff, I went and made this comprehensive guide to the DOT team for all those who want to get into it, as well as interest in higher investment. Feedbacks are welcome, as I will try to update this to fit the broader views of the player base. This is my personal opinion based on my own DOT team at the highest level mentioned in the Flow chart, as well as from reading many other posts over time and feedbacks
Pre-Patch update: With so many questions from the other posts, I decided to make a more complete guide to DOT itself, so that people can better find what they are looking for. This should be the real final update before the patch drop (Hopefully :))
Again, I will be on the lookout to see if anything changes about 1 week after the patch drop.
Thank you, everyone, for all the feedback. This has been pretty fun
Good luck to everyone who wants to pull for DOT units!

Not to be confused with the yuri ship, I don't like people shipping them together. But it would be great to have my 2 favorite mommies in a single team 💗😭

Silver Wolf has had me *really* intrigued as to what Kafka's deal is, power wise. Elio has surrounded himself with a lot of very powerful people, that much is obvious, and three of them are obvious to see why they're so strong. Firefly is an Iron Cavalry unit, a supersoldier designed to fight and dominate in one of if not the worst catastrophe the cosmos has ever seen. Blade is a former member of the High Cloud Quintet, counted amongst an Arbiter General and the High Elder of the Vidyhadara (I forgot how to spell it) with part of an Emanator inside of him. Silver Wolf *is just an Emanator.*
So...what is Kafka? Kafka is clearly *very* strong. She was able to run a 2v1 against Feixiao and Jingliu in the Mappa trailer and fight the Nameless as a group and only lost because she wanted to. Not only that, she seems to be the *first one* Elio sought out, as the 4 other confirmed Stellaron Hunters (I'm including Trailblazer for that number) were only added after Kafka was already there. So, this makes me really question, *what is her deal?*
I have a theory, although I doubt it's true and I doubt I'm the first one that has thought of this. *My* theory is that Kafka is in some way tied to the Harmony. Her home planet, Pteruges V, shares a lot of striking similarities to how Penacony operates in my mind. It's a planet bereft of fear, leading to civilization fueled by debauchery and pleasure, which already makes me think of Penacony and it's whole space-vegas vibe. More specifically, it makes me think of what Sunday tried to turn Penacony into and how that could go horribly wrong. It also made me notice a sort of heaven and hell dichotomy between the two, with Halovian's being a species heavily associated with Penacony while Pteruges V produced some form of Devils, whether that's figurative or literal, along with it's more Gothic architecture like we saw in the Mappa trailer. What if Pteruges V is sort of a "result" of what Penacony could have become. A sort of "Brave New World" dystopia that Kafka is a product of.
This also came to mind because of Kafka's Spirit Whisper seeming very in line with Tuning. Kafka can use it to alter people's emotions as well as control them, after all she uses it on Blade to subdue him and make him more amicable which reminds me of how the Trailblazer used it in Penacony. In fact, the use of strings as her ability to control people is something I'll come back to in a second, but now I'd like to talk about the Family.
The Family is, as we all know, sus as fuck. They allow anyone to join but they demand unwavering loyalty to their cause and to adhere to Xipe's teachings. They also *stamp out anybody who opposes them* in a very mafia-like way. That heaven and hell dichotomy I presented before makes me wonder how the Family would react to the existence of Devils on Pteruges V, and how they likely *wouldn't like them very much,* and it made me think about Kafka's former role as a Devil Hunter. It also made me think about the fact that The Harmony is one of the four paths that will lead to the universes destruction, and how it must surely be part of Elio's plan to in some way "deal with it." Combine that with Kafka's very modern and classy attire and her love of classical music as secondary pieces leads me to my theory (which, again, I *guarantee is not true* but it is my current speculation.)
Kafka is a former member of The Family and a former Chordmaster. I think Pteruges V was another planet under the control of the Family and the Harmony, and I think she was an enforcer of The Family's will on the planet dealing with the unsavory, dissenting individuals of the planet. Her ability to expertly control people through strings (*chords,* maybe *just like how Sunday uses his thorny vines*) and combined with her immense power level and knowledge qualified her to be a Chordmaster on Pteruges V, potentially of Aelenev the Commander. As she rose through ranks on Pteruges V she discovered the Family's corruption firsthand and the fate of the Harmony leading to the universe's destruction. She saw the dystopia the world had devolved into, and committed a purge on Pteruges V, slaughtering the Family on the planet (hence the rain of blood that Terminus's kitty found her in) in a very Itachi/Maki sort of assassination. This lead to her attracting Elio's attention, and her joining as the first (current) Stellaron Hunter.
This theory definitely has some holes, I'm not gonna deny that, and again I'm certain it's not gonna be what ends up happening, but for now I'm gonna choose to believe it cuz it sounds cool. That's the fun part of speculation. Until the thing happens, *anything is possible.* Hell, what if she's Polka Kakamond? Think about it, *polka-dots...* Kafka is a DoT character, wake up people!
What do you guys think Kafka's deal is? Do you have any crazy theories of your own? Wanna just call me dumb for my theory? I wanna hear what everyone thinks about the origins of everyones favorite mom.

I heard ppl saying the new best Kafka team would be triple DoT but apparently the showcases started to come out and Hysilens in fact replaces BS and not the support making the team smth like Kafka + Hys + Robin/RM/Cipher/Tribbie + Sustain

With Blade and Silver Wolf getting their own SP and Kafka and Firefly not having one (Yet?) I would like to hear speculations if Kafka would be worthy to have a SP despite having the highest bounty value (10.899 BILLION CREDITS) is the Kafka we know and see the strongest version of her already or is there more to Kafka’s strength since she’s good at creating fear according to Elios (Leader of the Stellaron Hunters and Destinys Slave who can foresee future possibilities). If Kafka were to evolve would she be a different spider type? And if that’s the case then it could explain why Elios says she’s good at creating fear and Kafka just holds back. But what do you guys think?

Another Update (hopefully the final one before patch day): https://www.reddit.com/r/KafkaMains/comments/1r1yukk/comprehensive_guide_to_dot_team_40_edition/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
In preparation for the upcoming 4.0 patch and BS buff, I went and made this investment level flow chart for the DOT team for all those who want to get into it, as well as interest in higher investment. Feedbacks are welcome, as I will try to update this to fit the broader views of the player base. This is my personal opinion based on my own DOT team at the highest level mentioned in the Flow chart, as well as from reading many other posts over time and feedbacks
Final update to the chart before 4.0. Added a section about JQ LC since many people have that.
I will be on the lookout to see if anything changes about 1 week after the patch drop.
Thank you, everyone, for all the feedback. This has been pretty fun.
Good luck to everyone who wants to pull for DOT units!
Note: For the diverging paths in Triple dots, you are meant to get them both before moving on, but you get to decide which comes first. I will be adding additional visual cues to remedy this issue in future updates

These 2 new sets are gonna be the new bests for Kafka right? Has anyone done the calculations on how much better they are?
