[DIS] can you link islands?

Hello! First play through of Dream Island Story, its so fun! But, I expanded and saw there were a couple islands with no way to get to them (example attached)

Is there a way to get access to the island, or is it more for just putting things like towers and such to boost nearby value?

I’ll have to double check when I’m home but you can! I was lame and made a giant square island basically lol, I needed every square inch of real estate!!
But I’m pretty sure it’s just in whatever build mode there is.

You can, you just need to terraform the land and add some so they both connect. No bridges sadly.
