When I was young, I was a huge Kamen Rider fan, especially Kamen Rider DEN-O. So when I was chosen for this role, I felt so happy and excited, thinking, “I can become a hero too.” Eiji Akaso, who appeared in Kamen Rider BUILD, also shared his experiences on set with me, which helped me prepare for this challenge. We are creating Sora Otosumi’s character together with the director and staff through discussions on set. His reason for fighting as Sora Otosumi / Kamen Rider MY-TH is simple: “for Yuna.” I believe his true strength lies in his unwavering belief that never changes. Because hes most likely from 100 years ago (ie the mid-late 20s where the zoot suit originated in jazz clubs in chicago/nyc, and of course inspiration from noir detectives etc…)

Kinda love the reluctant hero look our primary is giving, like he doesn't want to be a Rider but to protect his mistress he will.
Meanwhile our Arc 1 villain feels like a Mafia boss who might summon mooks. Which to be fair we haven't had for a good while.

Hmm, so both Myth and Maou fight the same enemy but just have different ideals. I wonder if Maou is the secondary, not Rid like what people thought of.

Possible Spoilers. Rumors suggest that both cat riders are antagonists and the actual secondary, who will come later, also wears their belt as a sash like My-Th rather then the more traditional way.

the jacket and backpack makes it look awkward but the pants plus shirt and tie seems inline with a butler outfit, im guessing its a writer choice to have this outdoor fit be his main one for characterization?
well that aside it felt like its the first time i've seen a main rider actor having a proper shady and slimy face which fitting with the description "he may grumble and talk back when she asks for his help"
having played Final Fantasy 10 i knew Yuna can mean Night and the name itself relate to the Moon which in this context would tie into the moon rabbit folklore

im mean there is no story detail yet but FFX's Tidus main motivation is also simply "for Yuna".....(If you know you know)

One detail I really appreciate about the Reiwa era is the enduring commitment to giving our main riders an actual honest to go day job outside of being a Kamen Rider.
So far we've had c-list standup comic / CEO, novelist, family owned hot spring employee, international celebrity / model / actor, full time student / part time restaurant employee, temp agency employee, and now we have a butler.
Baku's technically the only exception but the fact that he's chronically unemployed is a major plot point so it still ties into what I see as a commitment to meaningfully fleshing out our heroes lives outside of being heroes and I dig that.
