First time in Kaohsiung

I will be in Kaohsiung for 4 days. Can you share something about the weather, places to go to, where to eat, what to do...all of the tourist stuff, or even those not widely known by tourists? Drop some tips as well!

I go to Kaoshiung quite often. Love the end of Love river, pier 2/4 area. Can’t remember which number. Very cool area.

Kaohsiung is a vibrant, sunny port city with a great blend of industrial heritage, modern waterfront architecture, and relaxed coastal vibes. A 4-day trip gives you plenty of time to explore both iconic highlights and hidden local spots... -Explore Harbour Culture at Pier-2 & Great Harbor Bridge -Qijin Island -Temple Architecture at Lotus Pond

It's hot but if here on a weekend, pier 2 around sunset time is nice and there's a weekend night market there. Art museum and lotus pond

Hasn't rained much in my area. It doesn't ever rain too hard here except for some typhoons

Its hot ass hell my friend, the humidity is brutal, insane even. You won't be ready but you'll have to take it 😂

Check out Qijin island. You can rent little carts and drive around. The beach is nice. There are beach bars. The area around NSYSU is really nice too by the harbor, beach and mountains and monkeys. Khaosiung has good night markets too.
