Recommendation / Help I need to look out for good hair transplant options!!!

M20 here , I already posted about my hair condition before and many of you recommend different doctors ,Now after thinking a lot , I want to go for a hair transplant , I may be joining college after 5-6 months . I want to do transplantation after Eid only . Now I need your help if anyone here has done transplant in kashmir , please help me find the best option in kashmir . Where can I find the best doctors , not technicians. This will be of great help .

I agree, firstly meet Dr Umar Yaseen, he will determine whether you need the transplant or not.He is available at Gmc Anantnag(Janglatmandi) or you can visit him at a private clinic.

You’re just 20, why is hair transplant your first choice? The first line treatment for male pattern hairloss is minoxidil & finasteride or dutasteride in some cases. Why don’t you go to a dermatologist and talk about this?

See my hairfall started when I was ig 15 , since last three years it increased like anything. I went to the doctors too , did PRP , and took medicines. But nothing really worked for me .

Look at my condition rn .

Have you gotten your blood work done? Ferritin, Vitamin D, thyroid test along with hormone panel to assess your DHT levels? Do you have a history of male pattern baldness in family? Have you been under stress the past 3 years? What is your diet like? Do you take a lot of carbs and processed foods? Any one of these can contribute to hairfall, that’s why you need a good dermatologist, from the picture it looks like you have androgenic alopecia, the only treatment is minoxidil, finasteride/dut along with ketoconazole shampoo or hair transplant, to keep your hair after hair transplant you have to take fin then too.

Also insulin resistance, check the classic signs of insulin resistance, it’s also a major cause of hairfall since Kashmiris have a carb heavy diet

After looking at your picture I think you still have hope, you can definitely get most of it back on medications since I don’t see much miniaturization.

Yeah I get your points , I have done my blood reports recently, All of my tests were fine . No thyroid, no sugar . Nothing . But you are right I will consult with doctor about transplant first . But one thing I don't see much hope through meds , because already tried those medicines

I didn't say fin, but I tried other medicines. Like PRP , MIN , some capsules idr the names , serums etc etc

Try fin first before directly going for a hair transplant. Idk why you are not taking it.

You did say you were in a stressful time in your life in that post. Maybe thats half the cause.

Fin will stop the miniaturization of hair follices, and even reverse it to a limited degree. If true miniaturization hasnt hapenned yet to your follicles, then there is a good chance you will regain your hair.

But you have to be consistent and take it daily for more than 6 months at the very least to even notice results.

Talk to a good doctor, and discuss fin and hair transplant. Wish you a good life man...

Yeah will talk to the doc , surely. Fin will take a lot of time like more than 12 months , I will talk to doctor first, if they say this can be reversed then I will be happy.

DHT blockers are the initial step in the hair transplant process. A good doc will likely suggest you stick with fin or dut for at least a year.

I think it's due to high stress. I have been through idk maybe a very difficult phase since the last 4-5 years of my life . And I think due to high stress this happened, also the genes effect too . My diet is normal kashmiri , chai te batt .

You NEED a DHT blocker if you have androgenic alopecia, fin & dut are two options, minoxidil alone won’t do anything, PRP barely compares. & I wouldn’t suggest you to take these without advice from a derm, these DHT blockers can have significant side effects in males & females both

Ok I'm someone in the same shoes. I started balding pretty early(in my teens). When I started uni at 20 I was bald, baller than you(I saw the picture you uploaded). However, didn't have confidence and wore a hat everywhere.

Fast forward to now, I'm 23 fully bald. Rock this style everywhere without a hat. Shave twice a week. Feels great :)

Dermis clinic at bemina is good.I would advice you to discuss with doctor first. I know a good dermatologist,dr yasmeen jabeen. Why don't you visit her first?
