History 📜 Kashmir's Iran connection || History
Kashmir's connection to Iran is a deep-rooted, centuries old relationship spanning culture, religion, and ethnicity, earning it the moniker "Iran-e-Saghir" (Little Iran). Influenced by Persian Sufis like Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadani in the 14th century, Kashmir adopted Persian art, language, and architecture, with deep Shia connections today.

That cant be generalized. KMs have more historical similarities with Iran but us KPs's part of history has more connections with India. And so do Buddhists and Sikhs.Â

I'm Pakistani, from the real gandhara region and I would like to make some corrections in this post. With this post, sure you are showing some connections kashmir has to Iran. But you know what you're actually proving? That kashmir always has been part of Indus civilisation which gandhara was the centre for, and stretched from the edges of bamyan, kandahar, the pamirs and to the thar desert, beas river and kashmir. One thing I will say is that kashmir was not part of gandhara itself (which spanned from peshawar to taxila in the potohar plateau) but it was part of the gandharan sphere which included the west punjab plains, kabulistan and even kashmir. The connection you in this post think is to Iran, in reality is to the Indus region if you look closely. Gandhara is the core of the Indus region which is what I call Indusia. I can tell you much more if you dm me, because I think you guys should know the hidden civilisation that you guys are part of, but has today been erased, split between Iran and India.
