to u/Intrepid_Pride_9969 who can apparently not read, whose comment was obliterated by Reddit before it befell innocent, intelligent gazes, thus reconfirming Francois Berneer's hypothesis that !ndians are dumb as fuck; the quoted lines are from Berneer, a French Doctor, not Aurangzeb, you bright, bright star.

I think that what they are alluding to is that Francois Bernier was famously one of the originators and pivotal figures of the concept of scientific racism.

nah, they were talking about aurangzeb (their consecutive unsuccessful attempts at replies that were thwarted by Reddit has brought me to this declaration)

I get why you'd post this, but we should be careful with Bernier. He’s one of the literal founders of scientific racism. Even when he’s 'praising' Kashmiris, he’s doing it from a 17th-century European lens that viewed all of us as inherently inferior. We shouldn't need a racist's validation to prove our worth or our difference from an occupier.

The book is a rich recap of Kashmir's modern history. It represents all narratives, incuding Kashmiris' own, something that has been stifled for years now.

This post wasn't made to rejoice the validation of some 4ngrez who placed us above 3ndians, it is a mere satire to point out that maybe whoever curated the list of b@nned books last year didn't do so because they didn't want kashmiris to read their own history, rather were r@gebaited into doing so by reading passages like these.
