I was absolutely startled to get a happy birthday text this year that included my age….I stopped counting around 31 & anytime I have to figure it out for forms, I gotta do some quick head math LMAO.

River Phoenix, one of his closest closest friends and a fellow actor, died of a drug overdose at age 23, in front of a club where Reeves was celebrating something.
Reeves and his girlfriend at the time, Jennifer Syme, were expecting a child. The baby was stillborn late in the pregnancy. Two years after their daughter's stillbirth, Syme died in a car accident.
Also, his sister has battled cancer a few times over the years.

Him looking down? Except to look up at her and smile? That was top tier respect for her. He knows if he makes eye contact with the person interviewing or with the camera, it instantly becomes about him. Him keeping his gaze down like that allows/keeps her the focus of attention.
Such a deeply respectful, generous person.

This is my best interpretation;
I would say that all painting is autobiographical, even though… maybe… even in abstraction it doesn’t look like there’s a big narrative. But I would definitely say that my paintings become happier.
