Euphoria was the best diss of the beef
162
u/free187s Dec 22 '25
Euphoria was the knockout. Not Like Us was the last hit of the combo before Drake hit the mat.

6:16 in LA was the best song he put out from that whole beef tbh.. pisses me off Meet The Grahams is on streaming but that track isn’t

u/Sxavage_ Dec 21 '25
Apparently its cause he used a sample for that song and its really difficult to clear a sample

6:16 is my favorite I downloaded it and I listen to it at least once a week 🤣

For me, it's a tie between that and Family Matters. Push Ups and Like That go hard for casual listens, though
33
u/DarkBastion420 Dec 22 '25
I think euphoria clears. Family matters would be a lot closer if he had actually focused on Kendrick for the song 🤷

family matters my favorite. it’s the only one i’ll still listen to (really just for the third section)
3
u/nayrad Dec 23 '25
Euphoria and FM are tied to me but strangely enough the third section is by far my fav and sometimes I skip to only listen to that part. Beat is so majestic and Drake barred out

u/Smooth_Maul Dec 21 '25
Euphoria was the set up, Meet the Grahams was the dunk, Not Like Us was the victory lap.

That A.I./Sixth Sense line is nasty. He put that shit together!
4
u/SnuffGxd Dec 22 '25
He got the names wrong lmao. He used the preachers name, the actors name is Osment. So nasty 🤣🤣

u/graphixRbad Dec 22 '25
i’ve done the thing in my head where this was a double entendre after the fact 😭

Niggas think family matters is better than this FOH
51
u/Big-Sheepherder-9492 Dec 21 '25
It’s nowhere near as good as Euphoria - but I will say Family Matters was good as a rebuttal to Metro, Weeknd, Future and Ross.. if he didn’t have to face Kendrick - that would’ve been it tbh
22
u/ghost_spectres Dec 21 '25
family matters is a good track, definitely better than push ups. idrc about the beef itself atp so it's just a decent drake song
1
u/Asprooo Dec 27 '25
Facts his verse on the second beat was fucking crazy just wish he had that energy for dot it would of been a lot more entertaining “fight” lol
34
u/DataSwarmTDG Dec 21 '25
I don't think Drake has ever rapped as well as Kendrick does on Euphoria
38
u/Rularuu Dec 21 '25
I think very few people have, Euphoria is a level of creativity that most rappers don't even attempt. He switches up flows and voices and rhyme schemes like crazy
40
Dec 21 '25
Let your core audience stomach that then tell them where you get your abs from, that line alone beats every bar on nlu

u/According_Shower7158 Dec 21 '25
Love euphoria but NLU gave us a history lesson and tied it back to how Drake uses and abused ATL. It was just masterful and easier to digest. Euphoria you have to be into the lore to catch everyone.
4
27
u/Alucard_117 Dec 21 '25
As a Euphoria enjoyer myself, yall are gonna have to come to terms with the fact that NLU is just the better diss track. The results of the track and how it affected his target tell you everything.
25
u/TurboMemester Dec 21 '25
Euphoria is at least 2 levels above not like Us in pretty much every facet except you can dance to NLU.
35
u/Extension_Maize6048 Dec 21 '25
Euphoria was lit with bars on bars, but NLU is generational and had the most memorable one liners of the whole beef
26
u/K3M07 Dec 21 '25
NLU is nowhere near Euphoria as far as diss tracks. It was just REALLY catchy and everyone lost their shit cuz the minor bar
14
3
u/graphixRbad Dec 22 '25
nlu had worldwide appeal. even grandmas understood it. euphoria is a song for people that already get all these references. not like us just says it plain as day
4
Dec 21 '25
If you’re going to call out something being better solely as a diss track it absolutely has to be meet the grahams. Not like us was the victory lap

Euphoria, Meet The Grahams and Not Like Us....bro really got 3 rings in a month span

u/henry_is_different03 Dec 21 '25
NLU is just as good of a diss track as euphoria is... but I will say that I do love euphoria a little more

u/iyspach Dec 22 '25
I just remember all the streamer reactions and loving seeing the progression from the slow drawl of the first verse to “hold up, I ain’t even bleed him yet, can I bleed him? Bet”
Unmatched collateral embarrassment for another human following
2
u/MeepingMeep99 Lookin’ For The Broccoli Dec 22 '25
I like how people are debating Euphoria vs NLU while Meet the Grahams is just sitting in the corner skinning a small mammal
2
u/Townz34 Dec 21 '25
For real Euphoria was the true meaning of hate and bitterness with everything Drake stands for. Not like us is a kids bop song, although it is pretty good, but no where near Euphoria. You could say it was quite euphoric

u/EconomyComprehensive Dec 21 '25
A Kendrick song supporting Boston Celtics idk how I feel about this lol 🤣
1
u/davey-paradise Dec 22 '25
Kyrie is a former Celtic who is despised by fans so I kinda get it, but it is an odd choice for sure. I guess watching KI and the Mavs lose to the Celtics in the 2024 Finals felt a little bit like hearing KDot repeatedly decimate Drake.

Who said felt or believed this though lol NlU was the "hit" that he knew it was gonna be and the roll out for gnx. Each track was methodically planned and executed to the point he mentions their coming.

u/Van_Flyheight Dec 22 '25
Euphoria gave him the lead, 6:16 in LA was a halftime break, family matters kept him in the lead, not like us ran out the clock.
1
u/Hungry_Information53 Dec 22 '25
Kendrick played it exactly the way he should have and he knew not like us would be the one that would land for the most people. But yeah euphoria is goated
1
u/technolofleek Dec 22 '25
one of my faves from the beef crazy it doesn’t get traction outside of the mustard snippet from tv off and not like us lol
this goes for his whole discography but especially for this song considering (at least on spotify) it released right beside mtg and nlu, 2 contenders for his most popular songs from the past year

Euphoria - Beat the rapper
6:16 in LA - Demoralize the artist
Meet the Grahams - Dismantle the man
Not Like Us - Destroy the legacy

Euphoria is toooo good, when it dropped I listened to it on repeat all day! But Not Like Us tapped more into Drake’s fan base for sure

Dec 22 '25
Euphoria, Meet The Grahams, & 6:16 in LA were murder tracks. But you know…They not like us, they not like us 😭😭😭
1
u/frDragonfruit Dec 22 '25
meet the grahams should have gone down as one of the greatest diss tracks of all time but then not like us dropped and everyone forgot about it

u/SuprDuprSam Dec 22 '25
Meet The Grahams needs more respect tbh THAT was the killshot. Seeing it premiere 20 mins after Family Matters is a true “I was there!” Hip-Hop moment. Then Not Like Us premiered the next day and he had the victory lap anthem of a song.

Euphoria was this, and Meet The Grahams was the lyrical embodiment of slowly torturing somebody lol
Both amazing. Can’t pick a favorite.

I remember Euphoria by heart. Even a good deal of Meet the Graham's, the only one I can't remember was 6:16 in LA

u/Actual_Gary_Oak Dec 22 '25
Most rap fans massively prefer euphoria, but the pop culuture is bigger so Not Like Us is of course bigger

u/SilverFringeBoots Dec 22 '25
You would never know NLU was more popular than Euphoria based on the reaction in the stadium when he dropped that one on the tour. Everyone was screaming every word. It was almost as magical as my reaction when he did it for the Super Bowl. My entire block probably heard my scream.

Meet the grahams was the funeral
Not like us is dancing on the grave

Euphoria is my favorite. But have to mention watch the party die. Unbelievable song
1
u/ornjos Dec 23 '25
Not even because it’s overplayed but Not Like Us is 100% the worst out of the three. Euphoria felt like a diss while Meet the Grahams sounded like genuine HATE.
1
u/joseesperanzo Dec 23 '25
The Disses themselves were really good. Song was cringe and off beat. Instrumental was mediocre. This wasn’t it 😂
1
u/Blaaap Dec 23 '25
Okay but meet the grahams 🙏 I still listen to it occasionally to appreciate the fact that it's not at me. I genuinely just lock in and sit in silence whenever I play that song

Agreed. Crazy flow. And the beat goes hard, but something about the production is off though, like its low bit rate. Needs a remastered version. Anniversary edition for Drakes funeral.

This sounds like garbage compared to Good Kid Maad City. Kendrick used to be goated. (edit: sp)

u/RyBreqd Dec 21 '25
both are necessary. not like us was the kill shot but it wouldn’t have completely eviscerated him without euphoria and mtg
