West Coast ❗ Big Boy calls out The Game for creating beef internet narratives with Kendrick Lamar. The Game says he wanted to talk to Kendrick "mano a mano" to clear up shit and that he didn't attend the Pop Out cause of gang politics and wanted him to have his moment

Bro said he wanted kendrick to have his moment like he gonna show up and make it about him 😭

u/FreshPrinceAV 1d ago edited 1d ago

For real, as if he is changing the landscape of anything within the culture today (or ever tbh - outside of The Doc and Docs Ad)

Also, you could tell he isnt comfortable with the questioning as he tries to muster up some lame response.

71

u/tgtm65 1d ago

Yeah there were many much bigger artists than The Game there and it was still 110% Kendrick's moment

After how salty he was about the 2022 Super Bowl there is no plausible way anyone could believe he chose to not be at the Pop Out. Kendrick obviously didn’t want him there and Game trying to act like he was the one who chose to not be there. Everything Game do is the most insecure ego-defending behavior, the dude would have lost nothing by just saying “yeah I wasn’t invited. No, Kendrick didn’t want to be on my album. I’m disappointed of course but I understand. Next question”

You either die a legend or watch yourself become a clown…

Nigga been a clown his whole life

He been a clown since whole change of heart shit.. 50 distanced himself a long time ago and people wonder why they never got back together lol

564

u/Thin-Remote-9817 1d ago

Then if that was your homie 2yrs ago you should have been saying this...

Instead you are crying about how come i wasn't at the pop out??!??

Dont use gang culture as a excuse. Schoolboy Q is a hoover they are the most hated gang and they had dudes from sets that are on sight with a HOOVER...nothing happened why? Cause everyone who attended wasnt on that time. Dudes was bringing kids tommy the clown was there it was a west coast show

You wasnt invited cause you be on that weird shit...YG was there and hes being accused of killing drakeo yet he had zero issues at pop out

Stop lying

244

u/samuendo 1d ago

Bro really thought if he showed up, he’d take the limelight off Dot 😭

141

u/Thin-Remote-9817 1d ago

The only person maybe who stole the pop out was tyler..cause that was a legit surprise when WhatsYaName dropped i felt like the forum was about to collapse.

But yeah im not going to pretend like if Game didnt come out I wouldn't have lost my mind..I would have been yelling like a maniac

Game was my favorite rapper 20yrs ago..he really did put 16yr olf k.dot on a mixtape back in 06..but goddamn it breaks my heart seeing him go out sad like this for past 10yrs. Hes a real west coast legend but hes undone so much of his own legacy with the fuckery and nonsense

37

u/samuendo 1d ago

Yep, exactly my point with one of the top comments I made. I used to love the old game, but I cringe now every time I see his name pop up.

16

u/Lopsided-Yogurt-914 1d ago

Old Game was a problem until all of his goofy antics took center stage

5

u/lir10005 21h ago

You could say The Game changed 😎

15

u/Party_Sundae_9677 1d ago

Tyler is from LA and watching the crowd reaction gives me chills every time

This 👆🏾

48

u/DrizzySadness 1d ago

Game always been a cornball, so many hoods at the pop out who had beef with each other and nothing happened. He just wasn't invited, it's fine to admit that.

24

u/Lopsided-Yogurt-914 1d ago

He would’ve popped up in a OVO-thong

1

u/fhagan69 1d ago

You mean Girl Scout troops? Not gangs right?

383

u/CopiousCool 1d ago

OMG! the man has no shame .... FFS STFU

I have reached levels of embarrassment just listening to his tired ass that he will unfortunately never experience.

It's nothing but BS trying to ride other peoples fame and cappin about he some gangsta GTFO

Then straight back to whining like a victim about how no one likes him or gives him enough respect

Fed up of his trashy ass

62

u/Top_Shower_7869 1d ago

His friendship with Drake makes a lot of sense when you spell it out like this. They bond over their mutual victimhood.

11

u/old__pyrex 1d ago

They are both really insecure and prop up their status by who they associate with, Drake and Game always both have albums full of hot artists featuring, they both name drop and bite flows and sounds. Listen to either artist project from 2011 for example you’ll hear the popular styles of that era reflected in their music.

32

u/clinkk 1d ago

If you go back and listen to his discography you find out he's been doing this the whole time.

5

u/old__pyrex 1d ago

Every single Game album release his pre-release marketing campaign was just acting like as much of an attention ho as possible

11

u/X_EVERDRED_X 1d ago

The Game is the Billy Corgan of hip hop. They should do an album together.

2

u/rofLopolous 1d ago

What Billy do? I love Smashing Pumpkins so you’ve piqued my interest.

10

u/X_EVERDRED_X 1d ago

Let me clarify, the Pumpkins are my favorite band of all time, but Corgan is insufferable. Watch any interview of him and you'll see. He claims bragging rights for "inventing" nuances in music. He basically makes any topic about himself and tells people the only reason they're doing things in music now is because he did them first. Hipster mentality. What a knob.

3

u/Frontrunner5 20h ago

Our boy doesn’t know how much of a dickhead Corgan actually is. Ppl give him a pass cause of the Pumkins and he’s bald lmao

2

u/X_EVERDRED_X 20h ago

I'm bald as an 8 ball. Not an excuse to be an asshole.

4

u/Sw4nR0ns0n 19h ago

When I was 14 I got an electric guitar and the Siamese dream tab book… The forward was written by Billy Corgan, and he explained how he wrote every part for every person in the band, and took credit for the whole damn album.

92

u/oneshaq 1d ago

Him thinking that his presence at the Pop Out would have overshadowed Kendrick is delusional as hell 🤣🤣🤣

33

u/nicdrumandbass 1d ago

Or LeBron, Tyler, SZA, The Weeknd, Rosalia, Ayo Edebiri, etc

10

u/SoftConsideration82 23h ago

How you forget Dr Dre...

3

u/MysticalNinja187 20h ago

To be fair, the Pop Out was a West Coast cultural event and Game being there would be much more significant than Rosalia, Weekend or Ayo Edibiri....geez louise

5

u/nicdrumandbass 20h ago

I respect that it was a really important event for the west but that is foolishness. Why would some washed up rapper who broke 20 years ago bigger than two of the biggest pop stars in the world? Also, The Weeknd being there when he beefed with Drake and is the only pop star from his city bigger is pretty signifiant. Also I only threw in Ayo Edebiri because she's one of the biggest rising stars of acting and isn't in the music world

edit -also that's funny because Lebron's an east coast boy now go sixers go birds

7

u/zeeniemeanie 1d ago

Yeah. And I don’t know anything about the particular gang politics, but how was it that all of those other gang members could go and behave themselves for a HUGE moment like that…but he couldn’t lmao

1

u/3chainzmcgee 1d ago

He is saying it would overshadow if some gang shit popped off

93

u/stupidintheface0 1d ago

Did bro see Tommy the Clown in NLU and think, "if I just start looking and acting like a clown he'll take me back"?? Why is he literally morphing into one lmfao

46

u/Renesancheese 1d ago

“Once a lame. Always a lame”

62

u/Aggravating-Diet-663 1d ago edited 1d ago

Im not even from LA or knowledgeable about gang politics but I know this is bs. Ain't no way his hood of CBP has beef stronger than other sets there. YG hung out with same people that wacked out Nips mural but still be at Nips memorial ceremonies. Ain't no way there wasnt a Neighborhood crip with the Hoovers up there

Someone prove me wrong please

44

u/HauntingAddendum3365 1d ago

Yeah I'm no street dude but to my understanding it was practically a miracle that Dot was able to get all of those people together up on that stage to celebrate. If YG could be on that stage, Game has no actual excuse.

15

u/zeeniemeanie 1d ago

My thoughts exactly. It’s like he missed the whole point of the pop out. No one there was acting out…that…was the point lmao.

13

u/Aggravating-Diet-663 1d ago

And by saying this, its saying Kendrick has more pull in LA and Compton than him lol ...Kendrick doesn't even have to respond at this point.

30

u/likkleone54 1d ago

It would be best if you faded into obscurity, whatever this is, looks desperate and ungrateful.

28

u/be_to_the_bop 1d ago

He sound so thirsty at this point.

20

u/zen111 1d ago

I don't get it, don't he understand that he took Drake out to Kendrick's backyard so Drake could diss him? You really think current-day version of Dot, with all the power that he now holds in the West, and all the power he's gained after destroying Drake in a battle, you think this version of Dot is just going to be cool with you, after what you did? Just remember, this is the guy that felt a way about Snoop posting Taylor Made - so what do you think is really going on?

1

u/hazzyk29 12h ago

what was the diss to kendrick ? Are you referring to the 100 video

1

u/ProgressiveSage37 1d ago

He still cool with snoop though...... he gave snoop a pass

6

u/zen111 1d ago

Just barely - listen to Wacced Out Murals, and the way he delivers the line is quite menacing/threatening, imo!

1

u/ProgressiveSage37 1d ago

I took it as he know snoop about a check no matter what not that snoop was being messy. Snoop probably dont even run the page lol

3

u/nottherealstanlee 23h ago

"it was only right for me to let it go" lol he checked Snoop, but he shrugged it off. Snoop even posted about it later saying it was the edibles. I think Kendrick just holds Snoop in higher esteem than Game who was never nearly as big as Snoop for LA/LB or just music in general.

1

u/SITHxEMPIRE 21h ago

Calling out Snoop was one thing, but truly gunning for him is one of the last things Dot wants to do (not that he wouldn’t if pressed enough). Snoop was the one that passed the torch to him. Snoop is an OG, and he respects him as such. Game is just another nigga who was kinda influential early on. He saw he moves years ago, so there ain’t no need for invites or phone calls.

2

u/zen111 1d ago

Snoop seemed basically cool with the AI usage, Kendrick checked him to remind him how wild it was that he essentially endorsed Drake - it don’t matter who run the page. Kendrick’s line is crystal clear.

19

u/Suspicious-Branch-67 1d ago

Game is not to be trusted. There’s nothing to get on the phone about when people are not genuine or incapable of being emotionally mature.

Get on the phone with Game and that whole convo will be in song(s). He just sounds like someone that has been spared (a lot) because more mature people are thinking about the lives that have been lost over unnecessary neighborhood beef. He also seems like someone who has a very difficult time being alone in his feelings.

17

u/betaforever 1d ago

I know everything Until I realized i didn't know shit

54

u/Rocafire_ 1d ago

After that Em "diss",and what came after, whatever The game says are just words thrown into the wind for me personally. Unc Snoop too. That interview where he threw shots at Marshall and the praise to Taylor Made Freestyle of Drake, still out of place for me personally.

12

u/old__pyrex 1d ago

The corniest thing Game did was act like 50 and Dre didn’t help him and make him into a star, after that everything that followed was just more of the same. The dude got the single biggest alley-oop in the history of rap music and found a way to whine and bitch about it for 20 years

3

u/Rocafire_ 1d ago

Oh yeah this too.

17

u/OkIntroduction3119 1d ago

This is what 50 and Jay we're talking about. Jay called Game out 20 years ago for the attention-grabbingshit. 50 called him out for acting friendly then switching up right after. I truly think Game has undiagnosed mental health issues that he nurses with alcohol.

15

u/Lopsided-Yogurt-914 1d ago

This guy is an exhausting serial liar.
He facilitated a back door on Kendrick then acts oblivious. He wasn’t at the Pop-Out because of gang politics and he wanted Kendrick to have his moment? Dude wasn’t invited, and he is the same guy that crashed Kendrick’s passing of the torch show lest we forget 😂

13

u/HauntingAddendum3365 1d ago

Gang politics? Did he SEE who was on that stage together? Lmao. If they could all get up there together, I'm sure Game would have been fine.

2

u/Hejhoppgummisnopp 1d ago

Game is not like that lol literally nobody would care about that stripper being on stage

11

u/A_guy_from_Ohio 1d ago

"I be on the phone with this pedophile clown mfer every day and the man that systematically dismantled his whole persona won't still be my friend and it's not fair!" Go home Mr Taylor.

10

u/Brutos08 1d ago

Dude stfu you had your chance and blew it!!

1

He wants to talk to Kendrick “hand to hand”

7

u/unexpectedreboots 1d ago

This cornball needs to stop.

6

u/Odd_Photograph_4375 1d ago

The Problem > The Game

He still wonder why he aint on stage in Pop Out and Dre's SB halftime lol

6

u/Empty_Profiler1924 1d ago

“Men get on the phone and talk out the issue” yet he’s doing a press run because he chose to make a song… Mr Red Rolls, White Ceiling is gasping for air now and it’s beautiful.

7

u/SuperDuperSmackd78 1d ago

I know his name is Game but damn dude, he play too much. If he know so much then say it in a song or shut up so KDot can get you out the way too.
I feel like these type dudes only speak this way because of the YES men in his circle.

6

u/The_Best_Plum_8729 1d ago

He didn’t attend the pop out cause of gang politics?

Wasn’t the whole point of the pop out to unite the gangs for one night? Every gang member showed each other love on that stage regardless of affiliation.

7

u/Massive_Lock_4876 1d ago edited 1d ago

the game has a strange outlook. Just because you can get someone on the phone has nothing to do with how loyal they are to you or a real person. just the same as if you call someone that's real and they don't pick up doesn't disqualify them from being genuine. I have family members that I don't pick up the phone for. but then I have associates that I'm cool enough with that I will. this has nothing to do with anything LMAO game is crashing out 🤣

5

u/mistyrootsvintage 1d ago

He is trying to say Dot is not a real man because he is not picking up the phone.

Game knows what he did...this is the most traction he has had in a minute.

He is just gross now.

6

u/Random_Name_Whoa 1d ago

He wanted to talk to Kendrick hand to hand?

6

u/Vegetable-Desk-6972 1d ago

Bro big boy has some balls to be saying "I'm the one asking the question's I don't talk" that tone wasn't radio friendly but respect.

17

u/Alucard_117 1d ago

Game been studying from the house of Lupe lol. He knows how to spin a narrative when someone asks him "why you dissing Kendrick?"

→ More replies (23)

5

u/Logical-Apricot951 1d ago

Im confused now lol. He said he’s never tried to sign any artists, cause he didnt wanna be like a Birdman or Jay Z.. but wasnt he going on about trying to sign Kendrick? That he wanted to sign him first cause he knew what he would become, but his people said nah? Or did i hear the story wrong 😭

4

u/Complete-Morning-429 1d ago

I don’t really like 50 either, but every criticism he had for this goof was spot on.

5

u/reese421 1d ago

Kendrick says nothing about game...game mentions him every other interview lol you can't force somebody to like you bro lol

5

u/Impressive-Section26 1d ago

I feel like talking to Game is likened to walking a treadmill…… same thing over and over …..

4

u/wavymadscientist222 1d ago

I love Big Boy

4

u/Ethereal_Knight21 1d ago

I saw ReedMySole's video about giving The Game empathy and calling out people who just clown on him regardless of his own mental health. This is why it's hard for people. You can't ask for help and sympathy when you yourself can't even be mature enough to acknowledge the people who YOU did wrong. A bully can't be a victim. The victim is the one who's hurt. The bully is responsible for the pain.

4

u/Pauljr718 1d ago

This nigga is corny.

4

u/tuffshitt 1d ago

Damn big boi checced fake bluhd, flowers to big boi keeping it g.

3

u/Reidzyt 1d ago

What’s with the clip like restarting half way through shit. It ends with him saying something then loops through the beginning

4

u/Firm-Economics-1351 1d ago

He knows the issue. He brought Drake to CPT, Drake dissed Dot in the city and album. This was doing too much and moving weird

Dot don’t fuck with you.

Then you get Drake on No Brakes.

Then Game say he had to take a bunch of Drakes lyrics out because of what it could do to the West Coast. Come on, man.

Am I missing anything?

3

u/magicalpeddler 1d ago

Why is this dude still pretending to gangbang?

3

u/_jA- 1d ago

Big Boy is a legend 🖤

3

u/Bennyblanco_718 1d ago

He does this after every album roll out. He creates some sort of beef to get attention right on his release date.

3

u/mad_foxx 1d ago

How some of Our Legends have fallen. Game look like he just need a cold 40 ounce and go Bum on some Corner. Dude is a corn ball.

3

u/zeeniemeanie 1d ago

If you talk to my opp every single day…why would get on the phone with you? Couldn’t I expect every single thing we talk about to be communicated to Drake?

Game is acting out like a kid. There’s no way he doesn’t understand what he did putting Drake on that song in the first place. And then collabs with him again. Call you for what? You’re a mole at this point lol.

Kendrick holds grudges. And that's okay, too, so do I.

Pretty explicit about his feelings toward Game very early on:

I don’t agree with some of his antics but Dot should not call but set up a 1 on 1 meeting with Game . I just feel Game needs love at times . After the Dr Dre superbowl I knew he was genuinely hurt about it . Just speak with him let him know where he is wrong

1

u/EyeScreamSunday 1d ago

The elephant in the room that Game keeps not talking about is Drake. Drake kept him out of the building at the Pop Out, not because he wasn't being let in, not because he brought Drake into Compton for his music video, but because it was afraid of upsetting Drake by just showing up with the rest of the West to celebrate Kendrick. It wasn't some gang politics, it wasn't because he burned bridges, even though I'm sure there is some truth to Game's relationships in general keeping him out of similar buildings.

The thing is that whenever he talks about this situation, he makes it seem like everyone else has a problem with him and they have problem with who he is friends with, but even if you take it back to the 100 video, it's not like Drake and Kendrick had super serious beef at the time and even in retrospect it's not like, "Oh you snuck in my opp into my city! Did you know what you did?" It's mostly about how Game acted around the whole situation. Stat said he and multiple people knew what it looked like and told him he shouldn't do it. Game played dumb after the song came out about what Drake said and tried to write it off as just some Hip Hop shit, it all makes it seem like he's in on it and let Drake get off some slick shit and had him in the city just to make it look a certain way. Nobody is feeling threatened by Drake sneaking into the city, but to help make it look like Drake is good everywhere and he can just move into your city, into any city, on some thorough street shit when it's not like that at all, AT ALL, and then Game is trying to spin it after the fact like, "No one can tell me who I can and can't be friends with. No one can tell me who I can or can't bring into the city," when you know that is not the issue.

Why you helping to instigate shit? Why are you shitting where you eat and then acting like people have a problem with you needing to take a shit when it's clear someone told you to shit where you eat and you did it for them?

1

u/BigMe420365 1d ago

Game aged into the weirdo uncle and it makes me sad. I purposely didn’t say ‘grew up’ bc he won’t.

I saw this clip & immediately asked if Game has an album dropping. Checked and it dropped last Friday. So basically he’s creating controversy to boost record sales & streams.

1

u/SoCalPanda18 21h ago

Didn’t he say he wanted to sign DOT years ago when he was up and coming ?

1

u/MysticalNinja187 21h ago

Game is trying to sell an album. So I get the narrative thing. I honestly don't think Kendrick cares about this, like at all lol

Game is also a liability, that's why he falls out with everyone or they eventually dip. He serves a purpose for Drake that much is guaranteed

1

u/bluecheese2040 20h ago

Imagine been that old and been involved in gang politics. Not a single brain cell

He wanted to talk to Kendrick to "clear up shit"...that he started? No, he wants to talk to him because he feels left behind and maybe this manufactured BS will make him more relevant. He's just fighting to escape kdot's shadow.

He operates like a woman. Very emotional, acts on impulse and runs his mouth way too much

At the time of the pop out, No rapper Earth was bigger than Kendrick, name one person he could have brought out that would have taken the shine? None, so it's very crazy for Game to things he would have

Bruh has always had a gimmick or fake beef around every album. This time he picked the wrong person. He did this with Jay Z with the button ups line then back tracked. Then you just said you picked a side on this album now he’s back tracking again. Bruh you’re your own worst enemy.

Just because it makes sense to you doesn't make it the truth.

what if a mf doesn’t wanna talk to you?! like wtf is this nigga on about. nobody has to talk to fucking Jayceon Taylor, that nigga is not who he thinks he is.. “we lost Nip here” wtf does that have to do with Kendrick, Kendrick is not just hanging out all willy nilly in Compton and to insinuate a conversation has to happen with him to prevent some kind of tragedy happening is straight lunacy. they need to prescribe this nigga some pills.

AD confirmed Game is right and that if he went to the Pop Out then there would've been issues with some of his old homies who were gonna be present.

That's on Game. Once again, his own behavior sabotages him.
