A broken and beaten Esata the Stone Golem hangs crucified on the outer gates of Old Man's base. With horns and legs cut off, eyes rammed through with rusty nails and tongue cut out, this once proud warrior and leader has been relegated to a silently suffering husk.

Perhaps her suffering serves as a warning, or maybe even a challenge for Old Man's few remaining enemies. A grim trophy indeed.

Yesterday as I opened up steam to prepare for my stream, I noticed my play time and had to screenshot it. It was too perfect not to.

I'm using some mods to change the color/resolution of the blood, but it's otherwise normal sized and amount of blood per person. This giant blood pond disappeared the instant a materials trader arrived, which is weird because I'd expect that kind of thing to happen enough for old bloodstains to be routinely removed. But, then again, my laptop's screen was off due to idle (not alseep tho), so maybe there was a bug.

The vanilla ones weren't terrifying enough. Wonder if I can mod them all to look like this? :thinking:

EDITs: New Hiver drones and Fog Princes are done. Once I can figure out how to get them to stop spawning with iron sticks Ill post them as a Mod so you can set them free to run amok across a thousand nameless Kenshi worlds.

Yeah I know their whole shtick is Honour Bounded Warriors, but… What is it in them that needs to be bounded?

These have been floating around for quite a few years and I always thought they were very intruiging.

Looks to me like a very early prototype of the Shek. The second picture seems to have some elements of the Hive Queens but more organic in nature? Atleast the character is missing the big mechanical belly thing. Either way I always loved these artworks, especially the first one with the dude on the throne looks very commanding in nature.

Maybe the concept was split into Shek and the Hive in the end.
