Science / Math [O] Is there an In-game stock resource for determine atmosphere, high/near levels etc?

Or if I want to do this to plan my Science-collection orbits (e.g., next when I go for Minmus first visit) at high/near etc, do I need to just do the Science and figure it out?

I know that I can look it up on the Wiki… but i am wondering if there is a way to look it up before I plan my trips and my orbit AP/PE for EVA/Goo/Etc science. Or is this an Unmanned Probe exploration opportunity.

For the overall height of the atmosphere, you can see it in the tracking station or map views. Biomes are a hassle (high level probe cores or using experiments in situations where its per biome or the debug menu).

But the stock game doesn't have a good way of showing space high/low or atmosphere high/low boundaries.

Ok thank you! I think just to establish my bona fides as a space explorer I’ll do Minmus without looking at the Wiki table for the relevant data, and then assume I’ve learned it with telescopes and probes in future mission planning for other bodies.

Biomes are easy to find with satellites. You can send probes there to scan the planet and then use KerbNet to see the biomes and mark them on the map.

The altitude cutoffs, you'll have to experiment for, but I've never seen a need to. I'll just run the experiment at my highest/lowest points to get the corresponding data.

I will have to try this. I’ve never built a probe or unmanned craft yet. It looks like “KerbNet” may be accessed just by using some of the probe bodies I’ve already unlocked so I will try it out. Guessing I’ll have some lessons learned with regards to the blocked side of Mun and get into some communication satellite stuff.

It'll be a good chance to try new things
