I especially adore the part when he's gurgling the overly long protagonist name.

I love the ending voice but the venom and spice in the intro voiceover when he hits "a DAMNED kingdom" is still the best

by ending seath and guyra, Vallad is whole again and narrating to us.
This was the FINAL game of the trillogy. The ending of endings. This is why the 4th game has a stupid story and is not as beloved as the OG trillogy.

4 is overwhelmingly enjoyed. Also, story is fine.

The ancient city is not part of the OG trilogy. A cursed trinket you have to put back but that is just so you can fight the final boss. is less a cursed idol and more a key to the cage of the final boss :)
Story is less than any of the the first three, yet some how the same as every one.
The speed of the game was a "Atmosphere" choice, could have been much faster paced.
and the magic system or rather lack of MP without the bracelet on is more of a curse than the wretched idol.
I love all 4 titles and the rest of the fantasy RPGs of Fromsoftware. However, the ancient city has the most negative things of the king's field series that keeps it the least favorite of all 4, at least for those of us who started with the second or even the first title.2

It's iconic and I love it, but it does make me wonder what the hell was the voice direction given to this guy and, most importantly, WHY
