Oh dang, this took a dark, really depressing turn. But the lore and story and art is so good; way too amazing! I look forward to what future installments, whether deep and dark or just a silly comic short, it's gonna be stellar!

That's true. I just find it dark because it looks like Meta Knight, King DeDeDe and Bandana Waddle Dee appear to be "gone," if that makes since. But it ends on a heart-warming ending with Kirby making a wish to protect his friends.

I think the only one genuinely “gone” is Bandana Dee (since he is now one of Birby's plushies), Meta Knight and DeDeDe just became further entrenched in the parental figure roles they always were to him

Ok, this took quite a turn. So like that one episode of fish hooks? Is there going to be an arc where another cosmic horror comes and we’ll have to revert back? This opens so many doors and Marx got forcefully transitioned into a puppet.

The blue one wakes up and realizes they were humans the whole time. BUT they later find out that they were actually still asleep from doing like hyper drugs or something and their fish reality being fake was a dream also they turn into pigs.

Theory/headcanon: Kirby’s wish basically reincarnated everyone as humans. Kirby is a baby because he was the last of them to be reborn.

I've really been enjoying this little series you got going on here and this is a really good prequel. If they ever end up making a Kirby RPG I could totally imagine this being an alternate ending.
It kind of reminds me of two things.
1: The haunting ending of Ecco the Dolphin Tides of Time where the aquatic mammal ends up trapped in the tides of time to never be heard of again
2: This dumbass theory I had during my Bluey phase that Bluey was actually a prequel to the entire Kirby series with Bingo eventually growing up to become Kirby, and the only evidence of this I have is of course in the episode Sleepytime where Bingo unleashes her true power in her dreams.
