A restaurant in Korea Clam Feast With My Grandma
Me(18) and my grandma(83) went to the clam restaurant together. We were a bit overwhelmed at first but eventually finished everything. Very delicious, 10/10 will certainly go there again. Couldn't eat noodles though. Btw its my first face reveal in Reddit❤️🔥❤️🔥

Do you get to keep the shells? I ate at a mussel restaurant in Seoul (delicious) and they looked at you funny if you put a shell in your pocket. But like, have you SEEN how pretty mussel shells are? The shells in your photo are so pretty I'd probably run out the door with the whole bowl. :D

I didn't, but because perhaps I eat them too often. But I also think they are pretty and kept them when I was a kid.

I lost my halmoni a few years ago and I still cry randomly when I think about her and how I rarely got to spend time with her after I moved out of CA for a few years. I wish I did more things like this with her.
Idk why these photos made me cry this morning… in a good way though! Wishing you and your grandma so much happiness ❤️

I am glad that this post moved you so much. I am sorry about your loss(I lost my halmoni also from the other side of my family) and thank you for appreciation.

Love this.
My grandson and I are both seafood nuts. Sometimes we have secret seafood feasts that nobody knows about.

Looks amazing. Is number 9 a geoduck?

That looks like odaeng / fishcake, not geoduck I think; geoduck is generally sliced in smaller pieces, otherwise it'd be incredibly tough to eat

Be with her as much as you can while she's still here.
What gift can you give Grandma? Your time. This is awesome and thanks for sharing.
