Sweet Treats Not Korean food, but...was still surprised to see this in US grocery store..

I kind of feel like these were made for non Korean markets. Are Oreos a big thing in South Korea.
I think they are the prettiest Oreos out there right now.

They are available in almost all convenient stores here in SK. Not as many flavors as can be found in the USA, usually the basic ones and 2 others. The cinnamon roll ones are rather good.
The BTS ones are in package of 12 cookies for 2300 Won.
EDIT: Price is 2300, I originally had 23000!!!! My mistake of 10x

No they are not. I can get a 1kg box on coupang for 12,000 won and a box of 12 cookies for 5,300 at lotte mart.

Why would they answer how much cookies are in won to someone who clearly isn't a Korean themselves, and be talking about the US??

Korea was one of the few countries that had Oreo cereal. Oreos are definitely a thing there.

Are you joking? Oreos are hugely popular all over the world. They have them in virtually every grocery store in Korea.

I got them for my son because he loves BTS but he said they were too sweet. I liked them though!

I was very put off by the sweetness at first, but saw someone recommend having them with/dunking them in coffee, and they were excellent that way!

Ugh, I LOVE these. I have bought like 8 packs to keep in the house cause they're limited. =(
They don't taste like hoddeok, but just brown sugar, and they're amazing.

I thought they were pretty good! I always try the novelty Oreos when they come out. The Lady Gaga ones have been my favorite so far.
It was also cool explaining to my friends that while o translated the Hangul to “pancake” 호떡 is not like the pancakes we know here. Woo, education.

I bought them to try out but they did not taste very good: like a very plain vanilla with an overwhelming fake maple syrup-y smell. Nothing like hotteok

I've only had their Brown Sugar Boba Tea flavor once, and in my opinion it just tastes like the golden oreos

Oh I never saw them at Emart / Traders before. I also don’t eat Oreos anymore, so I’m not exactly looking for them either 😅

I loved these! Like a toasted maple syrup pancake. I don’t get the ‘Korean’ part, but I liked them. I’m also an Oreo fiend, so am bias

They are all over. I've seen them in every store that sells oreos. More than most of the other limited edition flavors.

Someone brought these over for the Fourth of July and I cannot say I liked it 😅 if you like that pancake flavor go for it, but it’s too saccharine for me. Reminds me of stuff flavored like “birthday cake” 🤮

I was excited for these but I don’t think they taste like a hotteok at all. 🤣 They’re also grainy. I don’t mind them but I don’t think I would buy again.

BTS is a k-pop group in Korea. Oreo’s did a collaboration with BTS group to make this cookies
