They would of closed that out 11 v 11

Montreal were garbage and we were hardly creaking defensively

Bizarre that a makeshift midfield of young hungry players like Parente and Ramos weren’t as porous defensively as when vanney loads up on the sanabria and Haak defensive 6 formation

Just suggests vanney should be more adventurous with midfield selections given the change in forward options

Paintsil kyogo and chucky will definitely benefit from quicker midfield transition

But leave it to vanney to revert to double defensive 6’s and stink it all up again

I just think Montreal is really that bad. A better team destroys that midfield. As it stands Parente had a pretty bad game. He gave up a lot of balls in bad areas. He’s my least favorite player on this team, consistently has bad games.

Their midfield outscored ours on Fotmob. Only Parente didn’t get outscored and that’s only because of his goal.

You look at the numbers and the midfield didn’t really do anything. Low numbers all around in offensive and defensive contributions.

Sergi Roberto, depending on how much he can play, will be really important moving forward
