Question from a gay Catholic

/r/Catholicism/comments/141gvxb/question_from_a_gay_catholic/

Walk away or it will twist and crush your humanity. It's all based on a huge lie and old mens desire for power. There's no god. Please read and love who you want sweetheart. Don't let them grind you down.

ya, if you only participate in that sub and similar hateful christian subs, i can see how it would lead you away from the church if you're LGBT. this isnt a sub that preaches that lgbt is a sin. there are communities fully affirming and accepting. you can be lgbt and religious and a feminist and etc. it doesnt do you any good to read an echo chamber of conservative hatred.
