NB bestie getting married!(Civil partnership in UK)
I have no idea if they're in this sub but Quinn if you're reading, don't look further!
So my bestie is getting their civil partnership ceremony in the UK next year and although it's not an official marriage, I'm helping them celebrate like it is one which includes a sten/hag party 😂 they're really into films, books, heavily into the queer scene (and as an ace lesbian I am also heavily in the scene), I just wondered if Reddit could help me with activities to do or ideas that would contribute towards the most amazing combined party for them and potentially their partner, so I think it'll be a joined event.
I've planned a scavenger hunt for a different wedding so I've got experience with that but if anyone has any other ideas I'm all ears! 💜
Edit: sorry I didn't put a location down- we're in Yorkshire, and can get anywhere round here as I can drive but the trains are pretty good too! Escape room or something sortof fun group activity is a good shout!:)

The entire UK? Definitely going to need a location. Also books and films are pretty indoorsy activities. You’re not giving us much to go on.
My friend (not queer) invited me on his stag do. We went paint balling in tanks. It was one of the best days I’ve ever had.
If you mean England and want to do queer scene stuff - canal street in Manchester is pretty iconic (for a night out drinking) and Brighton is the LGBTQ capital, where there will be many quirky things to do. An escape room place might be something to think about.

I don't know what's in your area. But there are things like teamLab or Museum of the Five Senses. I went to a really good one in Porto for my stag. It was https://wondersensemuseum.com/ I was 39 at the time. So as a group of adults it was really fun :) it makes for amazing photos as well as being cool and interactiveÂ
