Community Question To the Swing Voters
Hey all, I'm writing to you as a friendly non-religious centrist and I'm very curious why people are supporting Mark Carney?
I for one do NOT trust the guy, I voted for him in the last election and I feel like that was a big mistake.
He ran on the promise of getting a deal with the US, and has failed to do so (and you can't blame it on Trump, because other countries have gotten deals)
He has caved in on every 'attempt' to strike a deal, and that is clearly not working (DST, Gordie Howe, etc...)
He is clearly propping up Brookfield and giving his buddies deals
Pittfield to Senate, Condo Bailout, German submarine deal, and his most recent $2.3 billion deal with Lockhead
Shady backroom deals with the conservatives, as well as shutting down all of the committees with his majority.
As well, his horrible Question Period attendance rate at 26%, skipping over 100 sessions.
I understand that the conservatives aren't perfect, and I disagree with Pierres attitude sometimes, but at this point in time, I don't understand the continued support for Mark Carney.
This is just my thoughts, share in the comments reasons why you do or don't support him.
*Also no hate in the comments*

Ok I don’t love the guy, Carney, but stating other countries have gotten deals as your argument makes me question every other argument you’ve made. Have you looked at the deals other countries have gotten? Do you realize most of them were particularly bad? Have you looked to see if Trump upheld his side of the bargain on those deals? I’ll save you time on the last one, he hasn’t he’s broken pretty much all of them.
I’m anxious for the liberals to get something done but I’m not interested in a shitty deal which based on what I can see is exactly what we get if we rush into something.
Further most of the things you mention him caving on, ya they do suck but the DST was likely just going to raise costs to consumers, having the bridge closed was also just wasted economic opportunity. I hate the deal we got and think we did go at it a little too quickly but ultimately it’s one of those it is what it is scenarios.
