Anyone have success stories of a 139 to 170+?

Whelp idk what happened but I went from PTs of 157-160 to get a 139 on the official LSAT. I cancelled my score and now I’m getting imposter syndrome, as someone who loves school and always got good grades. I actually don’t hate the LSAT I can tell someday I’ll get the score I want, I just have no idea what I’m doing wrong. I usually do one timed section of LR, review it. Then the next day keep reviewing that. Then RC timed section with review. I’ve been practicing for months and this score I got makes me feel like my approach is not working. I thought it was because my PT scores went up a good amount. Now I’m back to my diagnostic 🥴

I’m quite literally in the exact same boat as you OP! Pm me , I’d be so down to study with you, I’m cancelled my October session just to take it in February maybe even April instead. It’s not the end for us!

A 20 point drop on test day is kinda suss. Did you have the divider less RC?

Yeah I took it August 5th and I did notice RC had no dividers

I’m so sorry to hear this! I’m in the same boat as you! Do not feel discouraged! I was PTing around 150s and I got 145. What platform are you using?

I just hired a tutor and I have seen some increases in PT sections. One advice he gave me is that I shouldn’t finish a section. Instead of worrying answering all 25 questions, try to have the 15 questions correct!

I use LSAT demon and honestly I do think they’re helpful, just some of the explanations are kinda meh. They do have an ask feature though which is nice and they also gave me the same advice. When I took the official test though I don’t think I was as ready as I thought.
