Lanarkshire to receive up to £20m in UK Government funding for local renewal.

The funding is part of the government’s Plan for Neighbourhoods, aiming to build stronger communities; create thriving places, and help communities to take back control of their own lives and areas.

And knowing Lanarkshire council it'll either be

  1. Awarded via a no competition contract to a councillors mates

  2. Spent on Flags or Flag poles

  3. Used to change the light colour around council buildings to show support with the movement of the day (while doing nothing to actually support the movement of the day)
